Anyway…your response kinda proves my point: if the only reason someone votes for Trump is because their feelings have been hurt by mean things I and others like me may have said then it suggests that they don’t have much of an interest or understanding of the actual issues themselves. A state governor can call out the National Guard - like Walz did in the BLM demos. The preconditions to doing so are very high. Neither DeSantis nor Abbott has ever remotely mentioned calling out the NG for border enforcement and that implies that chasing down illegals doesn't meet the requirements for using the NG.
