I've seen Trudeau get desperate, but damn this is just pathetic and weak.

I think it’s the goddamn mass immigration that masks it. Cheap migrants are being hired instead of Canadians. So the unemployment rate is low - because more and more positions are given to cheap migrants aka fake Hindu students aka low wage program aka fake refugees. While real students and grads are having shit time finding a job. Thanks, Trudeau!

Rental and housing prices had the same inflation in towns and cities with low immigration.
It wasn't immigration.

DoFo gave Ontario the lowest new housing in decades.

The bigger question is what is a legitimate solution to the problem we're facing. If there isn't a reasonable solution available then it doesn't matter what party is in power. Common sense would say that putting immigration on pause until a permanent solution can be found would be the first step in the right direction.
Send the Indians home. Cut off govt support for migrants (start with cutting govt funding the lawyers), refuse entry at ports of entry, (if they know they is a high chance they will be sent back to India, they won’t come), stop allowing them to reside in Canada past 6 months regardless of any immigrant applications still in progress. Institute a cap on the number of people from any one country. No more than 10%. Increase the requirements for entry and residency.

Solution is easy. Nobody comes in unless they have been properly vetted and has the papers to get in.
Yes that...and for every job that offshored to places like India, etc, there should be a job created domestically. No point bringing people in while shipping jobs out.

How about pausing the carbon tax indefinitely...
No, because those taxes have to cover the costs of the illegal and legal "immigrants/refugees" that came here under "student visas" and someone has to pay 50% of their wages (it's alleged that's it's 70%), give them "free money" etc, etc, cost of living, etc.
That's what the carbon tax is all about.

The Liberal economic policy is high deficits, mass immigration. It is a false dichotomy. Both items will result in short & fast bumps in GDP, this relies heavily on a steady uninterrupted continuation to keep the appearance of a rising GDP. But there is no real economic growth in the mid to long term and this comes at a high cost (there’s no such thing as a free lunch).
Mass immigration is derived from the grade 6 level intro to Economics that explains economic growth as the result of two inputs:
T(technology) + L(labour) = Output

so increase the L you can increase the economy, govt logic.

Deficits are based on a bastardized interpretation of Keynes Economics and modern monetary policy, but there is nothing modern about it at all, just rebranded socialist dogma (indefinite indebtedness to the state that your grandchildren will be born into, also known as Serfdom).

mass immigration and high deficits are both Pyramid Ponzi schemes.
The deficits being the biggest problem by far.
