Never had this happen before. In the midst of a congenial exchange to set up a first time 1 hr. appointment that the Provider will host at her place, kind of out of the clear blue she asks "Do u live alone?". I replied "Mind me asking why you are asking?". She answers "I was just wondering that's all". Being of the naively trusting variety I was inclined to answer but elected not to. Seems excessively paranoid of me, but can anyone suggest an ulterior motive that wouldn't enter my mind but might be on hers? FYI the appointment set up fell through - on her side - but I have indicated an interest in trying for something later. She's local, so easily available, but an infrequent Leo advertiser. Any thoughts appreciated.

Was there any miscommunication where she might have thought the booking was for an outcall?
Otherwise, it’s a bit of an odd question to ask a client during the booking process… unless she’s struggling to find an available Incall space to use and was angling towards suggesting an outcall date.
Could indirectly be asking if you're married but even knowing that should be irrelevant for the service she is providing.
No miscommunication, just to confirm that.
But your feminine intuition is working well, and I neglected to detail - unintentionally but unfortunately - that at the point in our texting when she asked the question, I think she was starting to encounter issues having her own in-call space to herself as anticipated. She had told me yesterday that her best window of time was 8 am to 2 pm. So yes indeed she may have been angling an outcall and I completely missed that possibility. Duh.
Honestly it’s the only reason I can think why a provider might ask that question. I probably wouldn’t have phrased it that way as it can definitely be off putting to clients who would rather not share details about their personal lives.
If you were texting her from your "normal" text app, NOT a 3rd-party one with a random nuber, she has your phone number. That can easily be used to find your address. Asking you "do you live alone" sets off my Spidey-Senses, because if she has your phone number and address, you might come home to an empty/trashed house. It also opens you up to extortion, you could wake up and your car's gone, etc.
I never drink alone... the dog is always home with me. Some of the ladies LUV him when they make outcalls to see him. (or me?)

I agree with this take. From a provider standpoint she either wants to know an outcall is empty and safe or she’s likely trying to find a solution if she can’t offer an incall. It’s always better to explain but everyone is busy and trying to be efficient. I find a lot of miscommunications happen from simply not understanding the point of certain questions and comments, then assuming the worst.
Interesting. There are women who do relationship scams, i.e. try to latch onto single guys, move in and then take them for everything they've got. Then they disappear. It's more common than you would think.
Honestly what’s more messed up is going to an outcall and the guy doesn’t tell you his kids are asleep in the next room…until you hear a toddler wake up crying for his daddy.
This is why I don’t do outcalls to private residences unless I’ve met the client several times previously and know they aren’t going to try and pull something like that.
As a provider, it’s probably one of the most uncomfortable situations you could be in. At least in my experience. And trust me, a lot of single dads who are horny enough WILL try to pull this shit. At least some will ask in the booking process if you’re ok with it lol and not try to blindside you when you’re there.
I can understand why some guys may jump to the more serious scenarios mentioned above… but for the sake of calming people’s paranoia, those situations are pretty rare. Most providers would rather get paid, leave safely, and go home to their own family. Not run some long game of a relationship scam or a potential home invasion where the consequences could be severe…
I've been asked that question on a outcall appointment before some ladies don't feel comfortable doing outcall with others in the House.
But I let the ladies know I have a roommates when booking a outcall and sometimes after my appointment they'll ask if my roommate wants to a appointment too.

sharing is caring. lol not sure I’d want sloppy seconds from my roommate but to each their own.
Hell, we all get horny, and sometimes make some questionable choices, but the scenario above seems pretty messed up to me.

I really don’t want to criticize another provider. We do all operate differently. But there’s still many survival SWs who have very limited options in how they operate within the industry….But there’s definitely a line in this industry that should never be crossed. And that’s having kids anywhere near your work.
I once went to a private residence for a massage with extras, and her husband was upstairs.
