We have been through this before. This is nothing more than another one of your narratives where you squeeze facts into your argument and ignore the facts that don't.

- California has had Republican Governors over the last thirty years. The tech sector was firmly established many decades ago before that. This is like giving Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger credit for the smartphone since it was developed and introduced during his tenure. Thank you Arnold!
- This is a back-handed slap at Canada because Canadian growth has stagnated the last ten-fifteen years. Canada would place in the bottom five in terms of economic output if it was one of our States. Please don't get confused by Canadian dollars. Psss.... they're not worth as much so translate them into U.S. dollars when you go through your mental gymnastics.
- As a style point, show your source for the chart. It kind of helps to follow where the data originated.
- Lastly, California and Texas did not have the same size economy in 2012 or anytime over the last thirty years. I think I understand your point, but since I don't agree with its premise it's up to you to express yourself more clearly. So again, it also helps to know the source.
Again did you check out the statistics from 1998 to the 2023? When all the righties doomsday media try to berate California just because it has been Democratic leaning in the last decade, you seem to follow them tooth and nail. Do not forget that California' biggest growth rate was under Gray Davis a Democrat who was the one to trigger California's economy, in investments etc. to push California up from the 7th to the 5th largest economy in the world that Arnold then inherited. He also induced the trade with Mexico, improving California's Water & Air Quality boosting their Healthcare program. But talking about Arnold, well, well, well, wonder why he endorsed Kamala Harris in the last elections? 😜
His policies were more in line with the Democratic policies and no doubt the Republicans have moved more extreme right with Trump!!
Now you attack California although the fact is from 2011 when the Democrats took office, the GDP growth rate grew exponentially as compared to all the other States economies including the Federal Economy. But one fact that missed is that in the last 30 years The Democrats were in power for 17 Years while the Republicans had just 13 years. Also you mentioned about Canada's economy in the past 15 years. Harper inherited a booming Canadian that was well ahead of the USA who were in a recession. He plunged the economy that into a recession, that did not recover when he handed it to the Liberal Government. Meanwhile the USA's economy was already out of a recession. Say no more!!

He's one of the most programmed posters on this board.
What gets me is that they're willing to walk right off their leftist plank repeating the same dribble over and over again.
As usual oracle with no real substance but usual drivel with attacking just those who disagree with his alt right train of thoughts. One day he may get out of his eggshell!!

I guess those 20 million voters that cast their ballot over night last time became lazy this time.
Where do you get the 20 million number? Presently Harris has almost 72 Million while Trump has almost 76 Million. Still 5% of the votes left to be counted.
Last time round Biden had just over 81 Million while Trump had just over 74 Million. You keep on exaggerating the numbers and still are in denial that the 2020 Elections were 100% legitimate!!

Behind the scenes look at how he operates during one of Kamala's speech.
He seems pretty on top of things to me. Of course, we can see he's jacked up on Coke right there. ;)

Sidebar: Republican or Democrat, you gotta say that blonde is smoking hot.

Trump will end it in "24 hours"!! We will get the clock ticking when he takes office!!
Forget Trump. Do you think the Ukraine war should be brought to an end soon? I think it's clear it's currently a stagnate, grinding war that now favors Russia. The U.S. and Western European powers are not going to let the Ukrainians lob long-range missiles deep into Russia.

With that in mind, I would advise the Biden Administration to start negotiating a cease fire and peace settlement. There's no reason they can't make overtures between now and January. I think they should have been pushing for this all year.

Before the vote counting mysteriously paused for the evening, Biden was way behind. Figure it out.

I think CNN typically follows this cycle:

Trump runs for office: peddle the narrative about all the bad things that will happen if he wins
Trump elected to office: peddle the narrative that he must be removed from office
Rinse & repeat...

CNN is scrambling to regain whatever credibility they ever had (and it wasn't much to being with)...they've spent the last 4 years trying to convince people to not support Trump and were very smug and confident he wouldn't win.
Now people are asking themselves...why was this media outlet so heavily backing the Dems and lying so much?
CNN are really pathetic

You should seek psychological help for your Harper obsession.

How the hell does this war favour Russia? They had to ask NK for help because they are running out of solders.

This is one thing I hope Trump doesn't change.

It's not clear if a small amount of North Korean soldiers really could have much impact on the war. It would appear they're being added to provide impetus for offensive attacks. Don't underestimate the symbolism of North Korea's participation at least from the Russian perspective.

If you think the Ukraine is making significant and sustainable progress, I would agree with you. However, Russia only really needs to hold on to territory and grind out the war. Historically, this has been the Russian military's fallback strategy.

There is a problem defining Ukrainian victory as the country regaining control of its pre-2014 borders. A Ukrainian victory is actually defined by Russia unilaterally discontinuing to fight. I don't think the Ukraine can win the war unless one holds out hope that the Putin regime would collapse shortly. I've been hearing of a pending collapse for over two years now.

To win, Russia has to hold territory long term with unhappy people living on it. That won't be easy.

Let Trump be the surrender monkey, he'll be in control of US policy soon enough.

It will be interesting to see who the next owner will be.

Warner Discovery CEO David Zaslav is wrestling with trying to be the cost-conscious executive or hobnobbing with liberal Hollywood players.

The Russians might define that as victory. If the people of Eastern Ukraine are so unhappy and disruptive the Russians go home in a few years, then there's your Ukrainian victory.

The reality is the Russians would likely encourage Russian settlement in those regions. Most of the people in Eastern Ukraine do speak Russian.

I encourage people to disconnect from Trump vs. Biden and look at the carnage and destruction in the Ukraine.
