Yet most bipartisan economic think tanks and economists believe Trump's stated policies will possibly bring a recession along and raise the deficit to a higher level, in Trump's lingo "like never seen before".
First, it's very hard to find bipartisan economic think tanks and economists. Somebody's paying the bills and those somebodies definitely have a POV.

Next, just break tariffs down for what they are. They're taxes on consumption. In a country with a huge trade and fiscal deficits, discouraging consumption ain't all bad. If you're concerned about the regressive nature of tariffs, the govt. can reduce taxes on lower incomes. All this before considering any benefit for domestic production.

Lastly, many think tanks and economists have globalist views that can't be reconciled with the chronic U.S. trade deficits and chronic trade surplus countries like China and Germany. Why do you think Trump mentions his dealings with Angela Merkel when he discusses trade? There has been a growing voice for the view that there is no such thing as free trade. It is however a theoretical ideal.

There's a lot of dogma that's been preached in economic circles regarding tariffs. Foremost, that tariffs contributed to the Great Depression. The U.S. was certainly hurt by raising tariffs because it was the world's largest exporter at the time. You can insert China into that today and roles are reversed. China and to a great extent Germany need the U.S. market.

Do you really have a strong view on tariffs or is another one of those things that if Trump is for it you're strongly against it? He seems to have a great ability to attract people who will contradict his every idea without deliberation.

Bret Baier is eviscerating Kamala Harris as we speak. Many MAGA supporters think Bret is an anti-Trumper and thought he would softball this interview. They were wrong!

In my opinion BB is the best journalist in the country. Kamala is finished.

Charlamagne (
@cthagod
) uploaded his entire audio town hall with Kamala Harris to YouTube late last night… His subscribers are absolutely demolishing Kamala in the comment section. Over 15K comments calling her out for being the worst VP in history. The more people hear from her, the less they like her! Please keep doing interviews
@KamalaHarris
!
The video has less than 350k views... it seems most people couldn't care less about what either of them has to say.

We can already sum up Kamala's positions, values, plan, and policies as "she was raised in the middle class and is unburdened by what has been."

As for Charla... he really does belong on The View.

Rapper Lord Jamar says Kamala Harris isn’t even qualified to run ‘Dunkin Donuts or a 7-Eleven’

Lord Jamar 1/3 of the 90's hip hop group Brand Nubian. The communities that for years were Democratic strongholds are starting to leave the fold. They say Trump going to get at least 20% of the black male vote. I think it may be even higher. That is a consequential shift.

The tragedy of this is that they allowed her to run.

I felt the same way when they had old dementia Biden as the figurehead of the nation.

How cruel is it to have a man that can't find his way off a stage pretend to be president. Old Joe should have spent the past 3 years at home relaxing, surrounded by family, and getting treatment.

Similarly, how cruel is it to allow someone who is so far out of their depth to go through the election machinery that is going to expose and humiliate her? Kamala shouldn't anywhere near the white house. She's not fit for office. Joe had dementia while Kamala is just not cerebral enough for the job.

The Democratic Party is led by the gutless and heartless.

Bill Clinton looks very aged.
I was thinking about this more.

I think I would look weathered if I had a wife scolding me every single day:

You fuckin' piece of shit! I would be President right now if it weren't for that little whore sucking you off in the Oval Office.

All political parties have actors who simply crave power. I'm sure Biden's handlers thought they were doing what was good for the country and only they were in a position to bring this wisdom.

This is exactly why I laugh when people point to the people around Trump who didn't think he was a good leader. I don't necessarily want a leader to be beloved by the hanger-ons and certainly not controlled by them.

In actual fact, Biden did quite well in his presidency - which still continues. So maybe those "handlers" were right on the money.

Did you see the video of Dementia Donnie jiggling around for 20 minutes to Sinead O' Connor?..... At first his "handlers" - chief among them the ever-lovable Christy Noem - looked concerned. But then they all started smiling and jiggling around, just like Dementia Donnie.

Now I'm pretty fucking sure the old senile fucker isn't "beloved" by Puppykiller Noem or his other leeches. And he certainly isn't "controlled" by them. So they pretended they loved the old fart, just like the cocktail waitress at the golf club who flirts with the 90 year old moneywhales to get bigger tips.

Was this what you had in mind with your post?

So who are you supporting, Buddy?

That eminently Kremlin free "iconoclast" Jill Stein?

She was your fave for a while. And then those other "definitely not Kremlin influenced" folks RFK JR and Cornel West became your favourites.

Per Chuck Todd well-known conservative at NBC :ROFLMAO::

From his border policy to the economy he has been presiding over to turmoil overseas, there isn’t a lot about the Biden years that voters love in this moment. It’s why former President Donald Trump has basically a 50-50 chance to return to the White House, just four years after voters fired him.

Of course, the reason Trump’s chances aren’t greater than 50-50 is that Democrats finally read the room and switched candidates from Biden to Vice President Kamala Harris. Bottom line: It’s clearer now in hindsight — and perhaps it would have been regardless of that ill-fated debate performance — that Biden simply didn’t have a winning hand to run on. All he had was harnessing backlash over Jan. 6 and abortion, and while both issues do resonate with a significant chunk of the electorate, those two issues alone couldn’t get him to the finish line.

Earp, let's discuss the elephant in the rally forum.

Donnie's senile. Pro GOP media conceal this fact, but Donnie mutters inanities, gets dates and facts wrong and sometimes just stands there and jiggles at his rallies.

Now unless the presidency is enhanced by being occupied by a silly old fucker in depenz who jiggles around and nods and wiggles to Sinead O Connor tracks, instead of giving a speech or discussing policy, he's going to fuck up in the White House.

Biden might nod and do whatever his aides tell him to do. But Donnie will stand there and dance. All through the day.

This ignores his mental dribble about tariffs and the weird old man ranting about the "revenge" he's going to take on his enemies when he's elected.

Is this a pivot from your declaration that Biden and his handlers are doing a great job?

I only responded to show you that some liberal journalists know that the Biden Administration's tenure isn't going over well with the American people. I don't think voters whether in the U.S. or Canada benefit when they are told how they should feel.

BREAKING: Senior Meta Engineer Reveals Anti-Kamala Posts Are "Automatically Demoted,” Admits Shadowbanning Tactics "Say your uncle in Ohio said something about Kamala Harris is unfit to be a president because she doesn't have a child, that kind of sh*t is automatically demoted,” reveals
@Meta
Senior Software Engineer, Jeevan Gyawali (
@JGyawali
), to an undercover
@OKeefeMedia
journalist during a hidden camera date. He confirmed, “The person would not be notified,” but would see a decline in their post engagement and impressions, explaining that Meta’s “Integrity Team” is responsible for controlling content through “civic classifiers,” a system that “shadowbans” posts without notifying users. Gyawali also revealed a specialized Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) team that was created at Meta, stating, “There is a SWAT team that's already set up since April… just to think about all the scenarios of how the platform could be abused.” When asked if Meta is doing their due diligence to protect democracy from disinformation, Gyawali ensured “that’s all going to be demoted 100%.” When asked, “You guys [Meta] have the ability to influence the outcome of the election?” Gyawali confirmed, “Yes,” admitting Meta’s power to sway political outcomes. When asked if Mark Zuckerberg (
@finkd
), Co-Founder and CEO and Meta, supports Meta’s political influence and agenda to help the Democratic Party, Gyawali answered, “100%.”

No. I thought that he had / has a solid presidency with a number of achievements.Towards the end, much of this may have been Biden giving general directions and his staff doing most of the work.

Should he have attempted to run again?..... No. But none of us has the self awareness to perceive ourselves as the world does. And a staffer - or group of staffers - isn't going to come out and say "The Prez is senile" because that would wreck that staffer's career for disloyalty and other staff would have done cover-up until the problem became public.

All organizations work the same way. No Republican's coming out and saying Trump's senile either. Although he clearly is.

That's the difference between Democrats and Republicans, Earp. Eventually Dems will choose country over party leader.
I only responded to show you that some liberal journalists know that the Biden Administration's tenure isn't going over well with the American people. I don't think voters whether in the U.S. or Canada benefit when they are told how they should feel.
Who's telling anyone "how to feel"?.... I'm confused here.

But give me a straight answer on the issue of Trump's mental state, Earp. Do you agree that he is senile and decrepit and suffering from dementia??

The TERB political thread is littered with Liberal members proclaiming Americans should feel great about the economy and the immigration problem was never that bad.

You wouldn't post such ideas.
