Islam doesn't have a lot of tolerance...Leftists don't seem to see that...Queers for Palestine and all, lol.

Not all Canadians agree with the ethnic cleansing taking place in Gaza . It is against our values.
There are two strains of antisemitism and anti-west sentiment in the West. One is coming from the Islamic jihadists who we allowed to come here. The other one is coming from the imbeciles in the West, including in Canada, whose brain is inflected by the woke, neomarxist suicidal ani-west ideas. Including the oppressed vs. oppressor ideology.
What Israel is doing in Gaza is not ethnic cleansing. Ethnic cleansing is the the attempt to get rid of a religious or ethnic group (The Nazis and Jews during WWII; events in Bosnia and Rwanda.)
Ethnic cleansing is also when terrorists and their sympathizers chant “From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free.” Also, when they say they would like to drive all the Jews in the area into the Mediterranean.
What is happening in Gaza is the over-reaction by an ultra right-wing party in Israel to an incident when a group of terrorists crawled like rats through tunnels to murder, rape women, cut off the heads of babies; and then kidnapped hostages to keep them in the same rat holes the terrorists came from.
Lefties don't have tolerance for much either. They fit right in with Islam

Overkill is not wrong technically. If someone fires 1 bullet you want to fire 3.
The proportionality discussion is about what military advantages Israel is getting and how that balances against civilian casualties in each of its operations.
I see the most dangerous anti-western views amongst the right who have increasingly embraced authoritarianism.
That is fundamentally antithetical to our western values.
Over reaction can result in war crimes.
Whether Israel is engaged in war crimes or not is for the ICC and ICJ to rule on. It is TBD.
Until Hamas is eliminated the punches will keep being thrown by Israel.
It isn't overkill at all.
This war is no different than any other war. You keep going until the aggressor is eliminated.
Remember who who started it. That's right, it was Hamas.
Because the other party promises to keep punching and punching until they knock you out and you just want to be left alone. They need to be deterred.
