If the Leaf game is a blowout, fireworks are a possibility in the last few minutes.
It was a very good camp. Most encouraging was the goaltending of all three goalies. PK looked good, so did Robertson, Knies, McMann, Lorentz and Myers. The only disappointment was Liljegren.

Apparently, the biggest problem was figuring out who should get cut. The competition was that tight. On Monday, someone on a local sports radio show said the Leafs could literally be $1 under the salary cap at the beginning of the season.

Ron Mclean gets increasingly unwatchable every year.
I've always respected him but it seems like every broadcast nowadays is a documentary but dammit, the job is to entertain the fans. Not feed your ego.

Bring back Howie Meeker "golly by Jesus".

It's only been 3 games but clearly EOL is not Klingberg. He lead all Leafs in ice time at over 25 minutes. Rielly, who usually leads played just over 20 minutes. EOL had 3 min 50 sec on the PP while Rielly had 2 min 25 sec. EOL also played 1 min on the PK. Rielly had 16 secs on the PK.

There's been at least 2 goals where a big forward takes out an opponent along the side boards skates to the net picks up the puck unmarked and scores, Lorentz and Knies.

LA was missing their 11 million dollar man who usually plays half the game.
Leafs played all 4 of theirs.
