Harris’ campaign chairwoman Jen O’Malley Dillon called Jill Biden that night to relay Kamala’s frustration. An indignant Jill responded by saying that if that’s the way Kamala feels, then don’t expect her to hit the campaign trail for her as a surrogate during the final stretch of the election. Jill Biden has been noticeably absent from the campaign. The joy is gone.
