It's hard to tell in Lebanon because Hezbollah has assassinated and removed numerous politicians including a previous PM. The public statements will be anti-Israel but many of the people involved in the March 14 movement will be quietly celebrating and hoping that hezbollah gets weakened enough that the Lebanese army can actually establish authority over their country.
It wasn't Hezbollah that invaded and occupied Lebanon previously.
Hezbollah, like Hamas, was the response to Israeli terrorism and colonization.

There is no reason for Israel to be attacking Lebanon now.

Nothing justifies attacking 4 countries and committing genocide just because you might lose office.
Are you a little upset that your team is losing even when you have four against one?

Meanwhile in other news:

There are unconfirmed reports that Maher al-Assad, the younger brother of Bashar al-Assad, may have been killed in an Israeli airstrike on his villa.

israel is cleaning up terrorist garbage all over the region.

Yeah, everyone here knows you see every Muslim as a terrorist, just as you see every Palestinian as Hamas. That's the reason you ask questions about murdering Muslim children.

You would be the first one crying if someone asked a similar question about Jewish children.

I am not big on theology but maybe someone can explain: isn’t it better for a Muslim child to be killed by enemies as young as possible? Doesn’t it guarantee going to heaven forever? Who knows what happens if the child grows up? What if he marries a Jew or a Christian or something and becomes an apostate? Then the child is fucked!

This is where you go off the rails. Lebanon is a sovereign state with its own army. The only reason the Shia Hezbollah has such a strong independent army is because it was formed by the murderous Shia Iranian regime to serve Iranian interests. Hezbollah even sent some of its forces to fight for the murderous Syrian regime.

And since October 8, Hezbollah has been firing missiles into Northern Israel in support of Hamas. Several towns in Israel have been deserted as a result. So I am fully in favour of Israel decapitating as many of the Hezbollah terrorists as possible. But this is where Israel should stop to allow diplomacy to work and minimize civilian casualties. The relentless bombing campaign going on is overkill and causing needless civilian casualties. It is called proportionality, something which does not exist in the vocabulary of Israel in Lebanon, Gaza and Yemen

So Hamas has an operation in Lebanon and the person in charge has been eliminated by Israel. Q: Why the hell does Hamas have a presence in Lebanon? The arrogance of these terrorists is truly unbelievable. And why do Hamas and Hezbollah have standing armies except to act as "spears" for Iran. Both should have been purely political organizations. No need for either to have a standing army.

The Lebanese PM is now calling for the implementation of UN Resolution 1701 whereby Hezbollah would be removed 20 miles away from the border with Israel to be replaced by regular Lebanese army. Q: Why hasnt this resolution been implemented already? Because Hezbollah wanted to sew mayhem. And now they are receiving pay back

You’ve got many facts wrong. On Oct 8, Hezbollah did not fire into Israel. Hezbollah fired on Sheba Farms - Lebanese territory that Israel illegally occupies.

Your obsession with Iran is off the rails. Your knowledge of the military occupation in violation of international laws is virtually nonexistent….whether it be the West Bank, Gaza, the Golan Heights or Lebanon

Israel fired the first missiles at Lebanon in Oct.
Israel declared they had to kill Nasrallah because he wouldn't stop firing missiles unless Israel ended the genocide in Gaza.

The only reason Hezbollah exist is in reaction to the Israeli occupation of Lebanon.
The only reason Hamas exists is in reaction to the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

Zionism and the occupation of Palestine is the problem that needs fixing.

I don't think he does.

The issue is this: - If Islamic terrorist groups wage jihad on the Jewish people and state and commit atrocities and then retreat to fortified positions in schools and hospitals and scream "war atrocity and genocide" when the IDF strikes back, what is Israel supposed to do?

Let the terror groups kill Israelis and then not strike back because the terror groups have deliberately employed human shields?

Iran is a murderous regime killing women for not even wearing the hijab properly. It has absolutely no business sponsoring terrorists in Lebanon and Gaza. The bloody Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza is well documented.

Global News' Jeff Semple reported yesterday from one of the border towns in Israel which was completely deserted due to Hezbollah bombardment. Please educate yourself

You two know absolutely nothing about Lebanon except that it is wonderful that Israel is trying to ethnic cleanse the southern part of the country in the same way it cleansed Gaza.
Well look at you...nice try throwing "ethnic cleanse"...let's check the timeline:
-Hamas attacked Oct 7.
-Hezbollah started firing rockets 2 - 3 days after...even before Israel started the retaliation.
-Iran also attacked a few weeks later.
Looks like Israel has no interest in "ethnic cleansing" Lebanese as most of their targets were eliminated with minimal civilian casualties...
Notice the comparison when you get help from civilians? I'm sure it's easier to get help from Lebanese than from Palestinians and pinpoint Hezbollah commanders.
