To be fair you have no idea the circumstances behind him taking that action and one might argue that yes they do. Now if he is totally innocent(which for the record I have my doubts about but that's another subject) and realized that he was going to be railroaded by the justice system which he would have been using a public defender then yes, fleeing while innocent would be an act of self preservation. For the record at one point he was desperate enough to contemplate defending himself in court(bad idea). Obviously Drake took pity on him and helped him out resulting in a fair case being fought. It's not what you know, it's what you can prove and clearly they couldn't prove shit. If anything you should be mad at the prosecutor for not doing a better job but then again, they didn't know they would be up against Gary Grill.
Now I'm not saying this guy doesn't live a violent lifestyle(which will eventually catch up to him) but he fought his fight in court and won so anyone trying to convict him based on their opinion of him is wrong and unjust. Why not settle on the fact that karma will likely catch up with him when the time is right instead of finding him guilty when a court could not prove that he was. Literally all they had to do is flip one of his associates to testify on him and they probably could have won. It's the prosecution that dropped the ball here. If you are mad at anyone it should be them.
