But what has that to do with the US spending cash on bombs for genocide instead of health care for americans?
But what has that to do with the US spending cash on bombs for a foreign country instead of health care for its own citizens?

You already know the answer. It's the title of this thread.

The title is an anti-Semitic trope.

I explained the clear and logical answer for why the US supports Israel. They share common interests.

I shall ask once again, since you have provided no answers to my previous queries: What other country in the region has been and continues to be a greater ally to the US for generations. Israel has provided a major deterrence to the Iranian nuclear program. No other country in the region is as close as Israel to being an American style democracy. Who else in the region is at the forefront of nano, communication and medical technology that Americans use every day. Which country deserves more American support than Israel does and more importantly WHY.

Israel ... Israel ... Israel ... Israel ... Israel ... Israel ... Israel ... Israel ...
Thanks, but my question was posed to Robert Mugabe, and he provided a more even-handed answer. You can go back to singing the Israeli national anthem.

"The Israel Lobby" is an anti-semitic trope? It's just a figment of the imagination?

No. It's a variation on a term that's been used for centuries. The Jews control the world with their money.

And you still come up empty when I ask who has been and continues to be a greater ally to the US than Israel in the area. If you had someone it would punch a huge hole in my argument. But you know my point is correct. The US-Israel alliance explains all the support that the US gives Israel and is more rational than your anti-Semitic trope. What percent of Jews do you think have hook noses?

Its not an antisemitic trope to ask why the US spends billions on bombs for genocide instead of health care for its own citizens.
Israel is not a democracy, its apartheid. They made that choice long ago.

Spending billions to commit genocide to back the illegal theft of Palestine is an evil waste of money.
End the occupation, give Palestine back to Palestinians, vlad.

So you say Netanyahu is the biggest antisemite around for this?

No one is their ally in that region. Not Israel, or anyone else. And you don't have to pay tribute to your allies.

Wasn't Drumpf making a big stink about NATO members not paying their fair share? Those are allies, and he expects them to carry their own weight.

Israel is their master, not their ally. The US pays tribute.

The Israel lobby in the UK is wondering how they cover their asses from charges of complicity in genocide.
Frank, this is where we disagree. Nothing is going to happen to Bibi, or anyone else from Israel. No one is going to be dragged in front of the ICJ, ICC or whatever.

He said the title (which did not mention health care) was the answer. It was always the money. And seeing as you are an anti-Semite, you wouldn't recognize it as a trope.

The US feels they are getting their money's worth out of supporting Israel. They understand their interests better than we.

Does your head feel good buried in the sand as you deny reality. And as with allies it is not tribute, it is one hand washes the other.

My take on things logically answers all the queries. Your take is the jealousy of an anti-Semite.

From Wiki:
The United States of America was the first country to recognize the nascent State of Israel.[1] Since the 1960s, the American Israeli relationship has grown into a mutually beneficial alliance in economic, strategic and military aspects.[1] The United States has provided strong support for Israel.

In turn, Israel provides a strategic American foothold in the region as well as intelligence and advanced technological partnerships in both the civilian and military worlds. During the Cold War, Israel was a vital counterweight to Soviet influence in the region.[2] Relations with Israel are an important factor in the U.S. government's overall foreign policy in the Middle East, and the U.S. Congress has placed considerable importance on the maintenance of a supportive relationship.

Quite possibly, but that's not why the ICC charges are important.
No western nation can say they support human rights while backing a country charged with genocide.

Israel is shitting bricks over the warrants, they've been spying on the ICC and terrorizing them as they do. They know the warrants have been signed so waited until the very last second to try to post challenges. Likely this is why Netanyahu wants a war with Lebanon, to try to get the US to back them regardless of the warrants because they are in a war.

Since you think its about the money, how much do you think the US should pay for each dead Palestinian?
They just gave Israel $20 billion towards the 200,000 Palestinians killed so far, do you think the US paying $10,000 per dead Palestinian is 'getting their money's worth"?

I know you'd gladly spend $10,000 for this, but do you think americans would rather spend that money on health care?

Do you think if you polled the US you'd get support for spending $10,000 to do this?

From your wiki source.
Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign aid: up to February 2022, the US had provided Israel US$150 billion (non-inflation-adjusted) in assistance

For that the US gets complicity in genocide charges and this.

I'd be thrilled if you're right and I'm wrong on this one. Let's wait and see.
