Who will have had the greatest career. Shohei or Ichiro? Ichiro had a much later start. If he'd started at the same age as Ohtani, he'd probably have had 5,000 career hits.
Remind me, what was Ichiro's ERA?

I'm not trying to minimize Ohtani's accomplishment, but let's keep in mind with recent rule changes it's easier to steal bases than before.

Kudos to Marlins Manager Skip Shumaker for not intentionally walking Ohtani when the game was out of reach. A class move.

I haven’t seen a player this magical since Ken Griffey Junior in Seattle.

He is the GOAT!, not Babe Ruth, the Babe never competed against blacks or Latinos players.

The Bambino never stole bases, although he was also a star pitcher.

The problem right now for Ohtani is that he doesn't have the career numbers................... yet.

The post season is where reputations are made. Like Mr. October Reggie Jackson did when he hit 3 home runs on 3 consecutive pitches in a World Series game to help Yankees win it all. He backed up his words by proving he was the straw that stirred the drink.

This is going to be Ohtani's first time in the postseason. Let's wait and see how he performs before handing out any awards
