4) I think it was Wilson Alvarez. He was 19 when he debuted with the Texas Rangers, and the Blue Jays scored 4 or 5 runs in the first inning, and he was pulled without retiring a batter. He was subsequently traded to the White Sox, and pitched a no-hitter in his first start for them.
3) My guess is...Kevin Mitchell.

His lifetime strikeout average, (.451), must be a Major League record for a player with 1,000+ at bats, and in 2023, he may have been the first player with 250+ at bats to strike out in more than 50% of his at bats, (142/282)*.
It shouldn't come as a complete surprise that his current two year contract with the Washington Nationals pays him less than his 2023 contract with the Minnesota Twins: Minnesota: $11Million; Washington: $2.5 Million in 2024; $8 Million in 2025, with $2.5 Million buyout of mutual option).
Maybe he just needs a pair of glasses.
