JUST IN: The FBI official who just briefed America about the latest Trump assassinat*on investigation, Jeffrey Veltri, is a notorious Trump hater. Veltri, the head of FBI Miami Field Office, was so outspoken about his Trump-deranged Facebook posts that agents were ordered to scrub them before he could be promoted to head the Miami field office. The whistleblower told the House Judiciary Committee that Mr. Veltri was “adamantly and vocally anti-Trump." The whistleblower added that FBI Director Christopher A. Wray, Deputy Director Paul Abbate and Executive Assistant Director Jennifer Moore were all involved in directing Veltri to disinfect his social media. This is who Americans are being asked to trust for reliable information about the Trump assassinat*on attempt and the security failures leading up to it. Maybe the FBI should stop promoting hyper-partisan extremists to head field offices.

It looks like from his social media he was a heavy pro Ukraine supporter. To the point he saw Trump as a threat to funding the war.

Remember what I keep saying about it has to get wise before it will get better? The pressure cooker that is the USA just went up a few more PSI.

Trump golf course gunman Ryan Wesley Routh's chilling social media posts surface... as it's revealed he was arrested in 2002 for having 'weapons of mass destruction'
The suspect who allegedly wanted to shoot Donald Trump has a rap sheet that includes a hours-long standoff and 'terrorist threats' and a social media post saying he can't wait until the former president is 'gone.'

Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, is in custody after aiming an AK-47 rifle barrel towards Trump when he was golfing at his course in West Palm Beach, Florida on Sunday.

The would-be shooter was convicted more than two decades ago with possessing a weapon of mass destruction, according to a more than two-decades old News & Record report.

Routh was 36 at the time and was arrested after a three-hour standoff with police when he barricaded himself inside a local roofing business in Greensboro, North Carolina after speeding away from a traffic stop while wielding a firearm.

He also admitted on social media in June 2020 that he did vote for Trump in 2016, but was hoping as president he would be 'different and better' than how he was as a candidate.

'We all were greatly disappointed and it seems you are getting worse and devovling; are you retarded,' Routh wrote at the time. 'I will be glad when you gone (sic).'

Part of Routh's rap sheet in North Carolina includes 2002 'weapon law violations' and 'terrorist threats,' according to public records.

Roth is a construction worker and a registered Democrat.

Multiple reports emerged naming him the suspect in the golf course incident where Secret Service opened fire when the barrel of a rifle was seen poking through bushes where Trump was golfing on Sunday.

New images reveal the backpack, GoPro camera, AK-47 style rifle and bullet-proof armor that the gunman left behind when fleeing the scene where he was targeting the former president.

Law enforcement held a press conference in West Palm Beach on Sunday after the FBI announced it is now investigating a second assassination attempt against Donald Trump in just two months.

The former president was rushed to safety after multiple shots were fired in his vicinity during a round of golf at Trump International Club.

It comes nearly exactly two months after a gunman tried to take out Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Officials said a U.S. Secret Service (USSS) agent spotted a rifle barrel sticking out of the chain link fence behind bushes just two holes ahead of where Trump was playing a round of golf on Sunday, prompting the agent to fire at the suspect.

A witness saw the suspect run into his black Nissan SUV from the brush, according to the press conference. But the individual was able to snap a picture of the license plate.

Palm Beach Sheriff Ric Bradshaw told reporters that the witness was able to share the license plate and later identified to law enforcement that the suspect they have in custody is who he saw fleeing the scene.

Suspect in custody was 'preparing for Trump assassination attempt'

A nearly two-minute clip from 2022 emerged sunday after Routh was revealed as a suspect where he was being interviewed by News Week Romania about helping recruit fighters for Ukraine in its war with Russia.

'This is definitely evil against good,' Routh said in the video where he was wearing an American Flag patterned t-shirt.

The suspect was able to get within 400-500 yards of Trump, according to law enforcement.

The 2024 Republican nominee's bulked up Secret Service advance team, however, spotted the shooter in the tree lines just two holes from where Trump was golfing.

Special Agent Rafael Barros explained at the press conference on Sunday that Secret Service moves along with Trump and usually surveying one or two holes ahead of him when he goes for a round of golf.

Asked if the security has changed around Trump since the first attempt on his life earlier this summer, Barros said: 'Yes, the threat was high.'

'We have increased the amount of assets that we've supported,' he continued. 'We are living in dangerous times.'

Real estate investor and New York City landlord Steve Witkoff was Trump's golfing buddy on Sunday, sources told DailyMail.com.

The armed suspect was posted up outside the club around the 5th and 6th hole, which is confirmed to be a more 'vulnerable' area of the course because it is closest to the road.

Sheriff Bradshaw detailed that the suspected assassin was wielding an 'AK-47 style weapon with a scope', which was recovered at the scene.

So was a backpack and GoPro camera, which Sheriff Bradshaw revealed in images of where the suspect was set-up in the bushes along the fencing of Trump's golf club.

The area where the suspect was first spotted by his security detail was two holes ahead of where Trump was golfing at the time of gunshots, causing the individual to flee.

Undergrowth is cut back in this area every summer and is one of the parts of the course closest to the road.

The incident comes as Trump's security detail has been ramped up in the two months after the former president was shot in the ear during an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13.
Rep. Mike Waltz (R-Fla.) is on the House Task Force on the assassination attempt and said Sunday that the latest proves the attack in Butler was not an 'isolated incident.'

'As I've said before, the July 13th assassination attempt was not an isolated incident that we can take our time investigating as domestic and foreign threats are ongoing,' Waltz wrote on X.

He added: 'As a member of the Assassination Task Force, I expect the Secret Service to brief us this week.'

The Task Force said it is looking at this incident – but it's unclear if they will also start probing this in conjunction to the other assassination attempt.

Chairman Mike Kelly (R-Pa.) and Ranking Member Jason Crow (D-Colo.) wrote in a statement on Sunday: 'The Task Force is monitoring this attempted assassination of former President Trump in West Palm Beach this afternoon.'

'We have requested a briefing with the U.S. Secret Service about what happened and how security responded,' it continues. 'We are thankful that the former President was not harmed, but remain deeply concerned about political violence and condemn it in all of its forms. The Task Force will share updates as we learn more.'

Trump's golf club is just five miles from his residence at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach and is where the former president is often spotted golfing when he is not on the campaign trail.

The Palm Beach Sheriff's Department held a press conference Sunday afternoon to provide updates on the shooting and revealed images of the suspect's backpack, GoPro camera and AK-47 rifle left at the scene.

The report of shots near Trump raises eyebrows as multiple investigations are ongoing into the shooting in Pennsylvania earlier this summer that left two dead, including the shooter, and two critically injured.

Trump walked away from the assassination attempt with just a bloody ear that could have been a fatal shot had it been a few millimeters different and struck his head.

But would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was shot dead by Secret Service before he was able to get in another shot at the former president.

Initial canvassing led to authorities discovering his car near the rally site in Butler with explosives and his parent's home with even more bombs.

Congressional and other local and federal investigations are ongoing to discover what led to the failures that allowed a shooter to get just a few hundred feet away from Trump with an AR-15 rifle.

The shooter is a registered Democrat who voted for Trump in 2016 but was frustrated and disillusioned with his presidency by 2020.

What's known about Ryan Wesley Routh, suspect in possible Trump assassination attempt
By Kerry Breen, Anna Schecter
Updated on: September 15, 2024 / 11:18 PM EDT

A picture is emerging of the suspect who officials say pointed a high-powered rifle at former president Donald Trump on a Florida golf course Sunday afternoon.

Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was armed with an AK-47-style rifle and was 300-500 yards away from Trump when members of the former president's Secret Service detail spotted him, according to Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw. Routh was a few holes ahead of where the president was golfing at the Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, officials said.

Members of the Secret Service detail opened fire at Routh, according to law enforcement officials. It's not clear if Routh fired any shots. Bradshaw said a witness saw a man jumping out of the bushes and fleeing in a black Nissan. The car was pulled over and the driver detained and identified as the suspect. Law enforcement found the rifle, a scope, two backpacks with ceramic tile and a GoPro camera in the bushes at the scene.

The FBI and U.S. Secret Service are investigating the incident, which the FBI said "appears to be an attempted assassination of former President Trump."

As the investigation continues, here's what we know about Routh:

Election 2024 Trump

Photos that show an AK-47 rifle, a backpack and a Go-Pro camera on a fence outside Trump International Golf Club taken after an apparent assassination attempt of Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump, are displayed during a news conference at the Palm Beach County Main Library, Sunday. Sept. 15, 2024, in West Palm Beach, Fla. Stephany Matat / AP

A decades-long criminal history
Routh's most recent address is listed in Hawaii, but he spent most of his life in North Carolina, according to property records. Routh owned Camp Box Honolulu, a shed-building company, according to his LinkedIn profile. The account also says that he studied at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and graduated in 1998.

Records show his problems with the law go back to the 1990s and include less serious charges, like writing bad checks. But in 2002, he was charged with a felony — possession of a weapon of mass destruction — according to North Carolina Department of Corrections records.

Between 2002 and 2010, Routh was also charged with a number of misdemeanors, including a hit-and-run accident, resisting arrest and a concealed weapons violation, records show.

Suspect criticized Trump online
Routh voted Democratic in the 2024 primary election in North Carolina, and he voted in person, according to the North Carolina State Board of Elections. He appears to be registered as an unaffiliated voter.

His X account, which has now been suspended, included a number of posts about Trump.

"@realDonaldTrump While you were my choice in 2106, I and the world hoped that president Trump would be different and better than the candidate, but we all were greatly disappointment and it seems you are getting worse and devolving," he wrote in a June 2020 post. "I will be glad when you gone."

He also referenced the July 13 assassination attempt on Trump in multiple posts, suggesting that President Biden and Vice President Harris should visit the injured and attend the funeral of the Pennsylvania rally-goer who was killed.

A Facebook account under Routh's name was no longer online on Sunday evening.

Ukraine supporter
Routh was passionate about fighting for Ukraine, even traveling overseas to fight in the country's war against Russia in 2022.

"I am coming to Ukraine from Hawaii to fight for your kids and families and democracy.. I will come and die for you," he wrote on X.

In one post on LinkedIn, he shared a photo of himself in Kyiv, Ukraine's capital.

A CBS News review of Routh's social media shows his pro-Ukraine views seeped into his public statements as well. He urged people, even those who didn't have military skills, to take up arms for Ukraine. He was interviewed by several news organizations, including The New York Times and Semafor in 2023, and Newsweek Romania in 2022. He was quoted about his efforts to recruit volunteer fighters to aid Ukraine in its fight against Russia's invasion, though it wasn't clear whether he had succeeded.

"This is about good versus evil," he told Newsweek Romania.

This article describes Routh as an “unaffiliated voter” who voted in the 2024 Dem primary in North Carolina.

I dunno…He sounds like the previous shooter from July- he has a mixed history of political affiliations?

Oh…and he also happens to be another white guy, just like all the rest of these crackpots.

Trumps seems to have a propensity to be a bullet target by his own people, not the groups that he incites hatred against.
His base has enemies within.
It doesn’t seem to be his base that commits these acts. It seems like these guys tend to have a muddled history of political affiliations often finding themselves on the extreme fringe of whichever side they happen to be aligning with at the moment. Just like Thomas Matthew Crooks who tried to kill Trump back in July. Just like the guy who attacked Nancy Pelosi’s husband with a hammer- David DePape.

All white guys with mental health problems.

All the same kinda guys who move out to Austin, TX to live as close as they can to Joe Rogan.

Your posts are a lot like theatlantic articles that you love so much.

They start of fairly cogent and then go full blow off the rails leftist.

I guess in the end you are who you are.

He will never surrender! That's the problem... even after he gets his ass handed to him in November, he will refuse to accept his defeat and will try again to start a revolution of redneck Trumptards.

Trump knows he is going down. Either jail or he wins, pardon himself from all his crime, grab a few billions for him, family and other billionaires. So any scenario is good for him at this point. He has absolutely nothing to loose.

Ho and that healthcare plan reform for all Americans he promised in 2016? coming in 2 weeks.

Stochastic terrorism is the term you're looking for. The MAGA justification of rage and celebration of Jan 6 seeks to turn the base into lone wolf attackers.
Yesterday rump posted 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT', now she'll have to up her security. That rump will now be a target of stochastic terrorism for the rest of his life is karma for the years he's been pushing it.

NEW: Trump sh**ter Ryan Routh was ALREADY on the feds’ radar for fleeing a traffic stop and possessing a we*pon of mass destruction But the FBI is more focused on concerned parents at school board meetings, so they ignored him. The Harris regime RADICALIZED Routh with their Ukraine propaganda, and he was literally trying to FORCE US troops into Ukraine. THEY ALLOWED THIS. ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.
Shouldn't that be the Repugs fucking up by selling a crazy an automatic rifle??
