Idiotic claim. It'd be moronic for them to claim that and they never have made that claim.

What is equally moronic, has happened and continues to happen is when those claims of 40,000 dead Gazans are tossed about, it's intended to mean and we're expected to believe is that they are all civilians. Question for you, Geno, out of the 40,000 directly killed by IDF, how many were Hamas fighters. I'm not holding my breath for an answer but if you do, this should be good for a laugh.

It's not simply a matter of wanting peace. We all want peace. It's a matter of wanting peace as quickly as possible. I have pointed out numerous times how many more Palestinian lives your suggestion is costing as we speak. The death total was 20,000 at the beginning of the year and according to you, in one of your posts that it's reasonable to assume that the total is up to 360,000. If Hamas had surrendered at the beginning of the year and returned the hostages, the total would have remained at around that 20,000 or so. That means that 340,000 have died since the beginning of the year. Your plan is stoopid.

The fact that you continue to support your stoopid plan and wait for a ceasefire and withdrawal while so many Gazans die everyday, is undeniable proof that you don't give a rat's ass how many Pali's die. It's all hollow words, rhetoric and a smoke screen. To save lives, Hamas needs to unilaterally surrender and return whatever hostages remain. But you won't call for that, because, as you've just proven once again, you don't really care.
The stats have shown that Israel was killing 70% women and children, Shazi.
If Israel was only killing Hamas there would be no Hamas left after nearly a year of bombings.

When Israel uses starvation as a weapon are you declaring that they are starving only Hamas or that the 1 million children in Gaza are civilians that Israel is intentionally starving? Which line will you use at the ICC and ICJ?

No, Shazi, I'm accusing the members of bias.
What a lame rebuttal. It is up to the mods who is banned or not, not the members.

You said that if it was any other race, the mods would have banned Mandrill. You are then claiming he wasn't banned because it was Muslims/Arabs that he denigrated and so the mods let it slide. That can be interpreted no other way than you are accusing them of being anti-Muslim. Who reports it is irrelevant and even if it is reported that does not necessarily mean that it will result in a ban. It is still the Mods who have to make their determination. So your attempt at deflection is another fail.

Your previous statements that you've had to make ridiculous spins:

Palestinians are lesser humans.
Filipina nurses are hurting our health care system.
And now the Mods are anti-Muslim

You cannot spin your way out of this. You should not always reveal your true thoughts.

"Rule of Islam": Woman Flogged for Fleeing Home

Taliban publicly flogged a woman in the Ghor province on charges of “fleeing from her home,” according to a statement from the Taliban-run Supreme Court on Wednesday.

The woman received 39 lashes and was sentenced to two years in prison.

This incident follows a series of public floggings carried out by the Taliban.

Last week, more than 15 people were flogged across various provinces, despite international calls for the group to halt the use of corporal punishment.

Taliban has shown little sign of reforming its judicial system, which continues to operate under strict interpretations of Islamic law.

Amnesty International has raised concerns over the lack of access to fair trials in the Taliban’s courts, warning that this remains a serious human rights issue in Afghanistan.

According to findings by Amu, the Taliban’s Supreme Court has, over the past three years, issued at least 37 stoning sentences and lashed more than 610 people, including over 100 women.

That's a total fantasy, Shazi. We've been over this repeatedly.
Every accusation is still a confession.

You keep denying reality.

A rapporteur is not permitted to make statements on behalf of the UN. They are a UN office temp with no other authority than to report to the UN.

The UN Special Rapporteur has a mandate to promote the work of human rights defenders and protect defenders at risk. She does this in the context of the UN Declaration on Human Rights Defenders adopted by consensus in 1998. She serves in a voluntary capacity and is independent of the UN, States and non-governmental organisations.

Writes formal letters to governments and other actors (such as companies) called “communications“. In these letters, she raises concerns about situations where human rights defenders are at risk.

Engages State authorities in dialogue about the situation of human rights defenders in their countries through public & private meetings, webinars & other events.

Makes two annual official visits to countries following a Government invitation. She then writes reports on the situation of human rights defenders in those places, including recommendations to the Government and other actors on how to better support and protect them.

Writes thematic reports which are presented to States at the UN Human Rights Council and UN General Assembly each year. In most cases, the Special Rapporteur invites human rights defenders & civil society to inform these reports by formally submitting information.

You intentionally and dishonestly left out this bit.

The mandate of the Special Rapporteur derives from the 1993 resolution from the Committee of Human Rights. The mandate calls on the Special Rapporteur:
  1. To investigate Israel's violations of the principles and bases of international law, international humanitarian law and the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of 12 August 1949, in the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel since 1967;
  2. To receive communications, to hear witnesses, and to use such modalities of procedure as he may deem necessary for his mandate; and
  3. To report, with his conclusions and recommendations, to the Commission on Human Rights at its future sessions, until the end of the Israeli occupation of those territories.

You just clearly accused the mods of being anti-Muslim/Arab.

You're not very smart, are you.
I just saw this.
I guess Frank did not understand the context of mandrill's post.

What context makes this not sound racist?
And you said that the mods only allow racist statements as long as they are aimed at Arab/Muslims. If they were aimed at any other race they'd be banned.

You are saying that the mods are Islamophobes.

Seems like the mods are generally leaving the politics section alone these days, shazi.
Are you ignoring the increase in general racism against Palestinians?

If you don't want rump elected...
I don't want Trump elected but I don't have enough of your elitist ego to think I get a vote.

But you are openly propagandizing against the Democrats. Like Hamas, you clearly prefer a continuation of violence because you think it justifies your Jew hatred.

If you don't want rump elected support an end to the genocide so Harris can gain that 6% of voters who won't vote for genocide.
