I ate at a place in SE Asia, where you shoot the QR embedded on your table and from the link you get the menu and place your order etc. Someone eventually brings out your food. Then you go up to reception to pay. They automatically add a 10% service charge for really doing no wait staff activity but bringing out the food. Thus someone showing you to the open table, someone bringing the food, someone at the register to pay. Approximately 4 words spoken. ("You can sit here.")
I feel like most Pho spots are like this now a days. Just a QR code to do everything on your phone

There used to be a St Hubert on the Queensway, then it became the Q restaurant, same menu, now it’s a Mercedes dealership….anyone know of something similar to St Hubert here in the GTA other than Swiss Chalet?? Thanks

Would you say it’s definitely worth its price point? I am not opposed to spending money on good food but only if the quality is really there 😃
I’m a total foodie ❤. I love trying new restaurants all over the city. What are your top restaurants in the city? Any hidden gems?
I was at Oakville Place Mall and stumbled upon a gem of a Chinese Cuisine restaurant with an extensive menu called Pearl……..wonderful lunch and dinner spot
near Trafalgar and QEW

Been here several times, although the last time was in late 2022. Its got dated decor but the food is excellent and reasonably priced

Service is good. My favorites on the menu are the lasagna and the fettucine la scala. Their signature dish is the lamb shank I haven't tried it. My only complaints are that I wished they did a marsala dish (either veal or chicken)

Nice haven't tried that one. My usual go to spot in Oakville is Cynthia's.

La Scala on Bay St., across from the Bay Bloor Centre was my favourite restaurant. I loved their sweetbreads.

As Elmer Fudd says, "it's Napolitan Wagu Season".

YT videos are catered to mangiacakes, they leave out the most important ingredient: pork liver sausage. It's a cold weather meat sauce, the pigs have to mature before the sausage is made.

Even the Pasta Queen disappoints me.
