I am not a fan of Trudeau, but I believe all governments are incompetent mainly due to the size of them and the many employees, civil servants, that love to fall between the cracks and do as little as possible as long as they get their pay cheques. Also, I have a close relative who is on the Treasury Board in Ottawa and has mentioned many times how difficult it is to hire good competent help and how difficult it is to fire them. This happens regardless of which party is in power and who the PM is. Does anyone believe that our Provincial Govt. is doing a great job? Just ask a senior about our health care system and the answer you will get is that it is deteriating badly.

That is what happens when government keeps on getting bigger. These bureaucrats are incompetent. Healthcare is a perfect example, how can bureaucrats know better then the doctors and their management on how to manage the healthcare system? I agree. They want to make money also, but no government ever had as much immigration as Trudeau. With him it is open borders. Canada has the most rapidly growing population in the world the likes we never seen before. Traditionally Canada has had 1% population growth annually, with Trudeau it is over 3.5%. I am not expecting a total cut, but it has to reduced back to what we had before Trudeau got in power.

This is a very simplistic view. Loblaws for example has a vertically integrated model that allows them to fuck with their suppliers, and take profits at various points. They are their own landlord, own the supply chain logistics, and also are their own supplier for no-name products.
When Loblaws is able to charge their suppliers increasing amounts in other operating units, what do you think happens to the retail price paid by the consumer?

Loblaws is not the only company that treats their suppliers that way. Walmart has been doing that to their suppliers for years. Their motto, this is what we are paying you, take it or leave it.

I did register as a conservative when O’Leary was taking a run at it. I believed he could do something to change the country. I did vote for Harper and he fucked me over as an escort. I don’t agree with how far left NDP is and I was screwed over enough by the PCs that my last few votes have been an official decline of vote. I think that is important and I don’t think enough people do it. All the parties are fucked and if people took a stand against that and declined their votes, the country would be forced to rethink their political parties. That is my true stance.

I’m a complex human. And this site is so funny because I get called a PC lover and a liberal lover. All the time. I’ll give you an example - I support vaccines. I supported them through COVID. I have got boosters, flu shots, the vaccine for MP. The whole nine. So everyone called me a liberal lover. But I was against the vaccine mandates because I don’t agree that people should be forced to take them. I feel the mandates were coercion. I think it is horrible that people lost their jobs. So I was then called a PC lover. But I’m neither.
