That would be a terrible strategy. Republicans aren't going to let any sort of legislation pass so Harris would seem ineffective. People love her because with Trump you know what you get and people don't like him, same as Biden. Harris is a breath of fresh air and comes with 0 baggage. Republicans can't find a single thing to investigate her for. No crackhead son, no geriatric concerns and they don't have enough time to make up things like they did against Biden and seem credible. That's why the GOP is furious that the dirty tricks they used against Joe won't work. Furthermore the democrats will use Joe as a lame duck president and push through whatever they want after kamala is elected, with no repercussions.
