Next posts will be some cover versions of various songs to be compared to the original, or sometimes better, versions. A short post.

is this the original X ?....im familiar with the Wilson Pickett version....this is "rougher" and "earthier" whearas Wilson.s version is fuller and smoother....both are great versions
Bailey's was released in 1971, according to YouTube. I couldn't find info on Pickett's version, but I imagine it was earlier.
Correction. Pickett's version was the "b" side of the "Mini-Skirt Minnie" single from 1969. So Bailey's version was a "cover". I agree...both are great!
im familiar with Wilson.s version because it was in the Hey Jude album, which i have,,,
