what a great song....regardless of who performs it.....written by a white guy Dan Penn, who was a prolific songwriter as part of the Muscles shoals group if i remember right
another Soul standard..performed by many artists including Otis Redding and the Rolling Stones and a Hall of Fame imo... live version by one of my MT Rushmore women..Candi Staton
Definitely not the LZ version but I still dig it. To me his voice has a slight resemblance to Lou Rawls believe it or not.
