exactly. most of the people i know beleive everything they see on tv. the problem in this country is there is no fox news to show you the things trump really says. the lefty liars take a few words he says and twist it into something he wasnt saying take it out of context. heres a couple examples, if i dont get elected its going to be a bloodbath. he meant for the auto industry. he told sean hannity that he had every right to retaliation for the railroading lawfare that the dems were putting him through but he wouldnt we need to unify the country were his words.this is how they work they make up the lie and they just say it over and over thousands of times till it seems like the truth. biden even pulled out the old fine people on both sides hoax the other night. trump said that but right after he said im not talking about those far right extremists. now its the project 25 thing that has nothing to do with trump he has repeatedly said that from the start but they just wont stop lying god they make me sick. my wife and isay that there should be some kind of standards for so called journalists that if their caught lying so many times they should lose their jobs and not be on the airways anymore.

When they make a mistake, they will issue a retraction and an apology. They do not continue to lie about shit for months when they KNOW it is a lie. Tucker wasn't the only Fox person who knew it was a lie either...
Now, as for the Russia stuff....Trump did everything in his power to obstruct the investigation. In fact, Mueller said if he wasn't president, he would be arrested. So, the questions is this: Did the Trump campaign try to work with Russia? The answer is yes. Did they? It isn't clear. It turns out they were to incompetent to really do it....
But...it is also a proven point that Russia did help Trump with the election. I know it's a tough pill to swallow, especially since this report from a Republican-led committee spells it out:

The report purposely does not come to a final conclusion, as the other reports did, about whether there is enough evidence that Trump’s campaign coordinated or colluded with Russia to sway the election, leaving its findings open to partisan interpretation.

It will be harder for older population (50+) to not believe the mainstream news as they grew up in a time where news was more critical and credible.
All I can say is try to find long format interviews, unbiased town halls, podcasts that let the candidates articulate their vision and answer the question fully rather than in 30 second sound bites. We can judge character and personality of a candidate better in these type of formats. Just this year, Trump has done this with CNN in townhall format and lately he’s been doing a lot of podcasts (including spaces interview with Musk).
This is why Kamala won’t do these interviews. She has no vision or character. She’s barely a real person. The more we see of her in a non scripted environment, the more the vote sways to Trump.

you nailed it im 63 so i remember the days of walter croncrite and peter jennings when they just reported and didnt take sides. trump goes into the lions den and takes on hostile reporters all the time. could you imagine kumala doing an interveiw with fox news where she didnt get a list of the questions ahead of time and had them edit the answers like they did for joe biden to make him look coherent.
also could you imagine harris without the media gaslighting the public on her behalf and she had to do press conferences and interveiws with the likes of walter croncrite. she wouldnt get a single vote except from the most hard left dem voters. even moderate dems would say cant vote for that dummy.
