There are many, many reasons why guys stay in relationships that provide little to no sex.
1. kids
2. Family. Your in laws after a number of years can become close family, and the SO becomes part of yours
3. Cultural or religious expectations
4. Other parts of life are good, they love their wife apart from this one aspect.
5. Along the lines of 4, they don’t want to hurt their SO.
6. Maybe the SO has health issues that prevent sex
7. Divorce is expensive. Some say the reason for that is, because it’s worth it. But splitting up a long established marriage is costly, and may risk hard earned financial security.

People see divorce and separation as a fight? Why? First thing i said to my ex when we decided to split despite having young kids was 'ok its obvious we did not succeed our union, but we will succeed our separation.'

Had the weekend pretty much to myself... Thought I see two SPs on Saturday and another on Sunday... Ended up helping my parents with stuff and fixing shit my kids fucked up. I also cut my grass and transplanted vegetable seedlings while looking after a sourdough starter (I'm trying new things). I'm near halfway into the year and I've had sex three times. Twice with my wife, but the last time was only minutes as my kids ruined it.
