Hmmm...So she intentionally permanently f#cks everything up and then at the last second , before an election decides she's going to fix things?...And you expected the GOP to rubber stamp that?..LOL...They handed him his election platform...Well after they brought him back to relevance with all of the bogus charges of course.
You're obviously not listening to her speeches or following events. She refers to the bipartisan immigration legislation set up under the Biden administration that Trump blocked by pressuring prominent GOP-ers to vote against it - including some of the bills GOP sponsors, who flipped under his pressure.

You always miss the entire point.

You shat on Biden too...after you said...he's going to win...a month ago...now he's "too old"....he was "too old" 5 years ago... 😂 😂 😂 😂
Have any of the progressives here acknowledged that they knew Biden was losing it but they felt compelled to campaign for him?

It seemed like we went months with members telling us Biden was in fine shape. Then June 27th......crickets. I could not have been the only one to notice the silence and lack of participation.

Not one said you guys were right and it's actually better for the Democrats to have replaced Biden. We didn't see that in our exuberance.

Trump is the perfect distraction for Canadian lefties so that focus is taken away from the clown that has been running (i.e. ruining) Canada for the past decade.
Deep down they want him to win so they maintain their distraction tactic.
I think you all should be discussing your own situation more instead of wishing for the U.S. to be like Canada. Instead of trying to turn Trudeau and Poilievre into caricatures, get into specific policies that work and don't seem to be working.

Kamala: You know that border mess the first three years that we used to try to rope some Republican underlings into a compromise and finally we just decided to fix the problem six months before the election. You can trust us to deal with the border.

Lol. Polling us useless right now. Things need to settle on. Once they do you will see it's going to be a close race.

This contest is about three things with voters who can swing.

Economy Immigration Abortion.

Whatever they priority is on voting day is how they will vote.

Trump wins Immigration, edges on Economy, loses bad on Abortion. It's that simple imo.

But thanks for now avoiding TWO THINGS Harris in vulnerable on.
This is a good summary. The U.S. economy is in decent shape but more nuanced of an issue. You won't be able to have a clear-headed discussion with most people here. They're scurrying around the internet for articles and commentary that tell us how great the U.S. economy is. The economy is a very personal issue and not everyone feels it the same way.

By the way, immigration spills over into the economy. It's unrealistic to believe otherwise.

But it's kinda hard not to think of Trudeau as a caricature...

Labelling Harris as "too far left" is expected from an extreme right winger!!
😂 😂 😂 track record at all? i mean have you really looked into it? Be honest with yourself...
I don't expect Harris to run on a lot of policy specifics other than on the fringes. I expect a lot of platitudes about the Biden years. More importantly, a lot of how Democrats are great for women, great for blacks, great for the LGBTQ community, etc.

Don't get me wrong...I think Harris and the Democrats has a real shot at beating Trump...they got $$$, you simply don't underestimate their base....on the other side....Trump has got $$$ too, dont' underestimate his base as well...this is going to be a dirty dog fight...I will give the edge to Trump on the swing states only because the border and economy kinda crucial for these key states...specially Michigan and Wisonsin....Had the democrats prepared earlier...not sure who will they really replace Biden aside from Harris though, Michelle Obama? HIllary...looks like they are bound to run a female no matter what... There's also the angle that Barrack was the one who pressured Biden to withdraw thinking MIchelle would be endorsed but Biden in return blind sided them and endorsed kamala...not sure how true is that...

It's an interesting thought. I think if Michelle really wanted the nomination it would be hers. She's the only Democrat that could step in front of Kamala without there being a lot of bitching and whining.

In regards to your point that Kamala has a real shot at beating Trump, of course she does. The race is where it was before Biden started melting down. We had old & slipping versus loud & obnoxious. Voila! Dems insert young & occasionally silly and the focus is back on Trump's negatives.

Kamala has to be careful how she plays her previous positions and her Senate record. As a commentator said, the Democrats have traded some Pennsylvania voters for some California voters. Regardless of her 2020 campaign, losing candidates are allowed resets. Let's see what she does with it.

True but that's the thing...If biden beat them to the announcement, it would be difficult for them to back track some more...their base were already confused with the late withdrawal, Trump gaining traction for surviving the assassination....it was a series of "unfortunate events" for them... maybe Barrack was counting on the democrats running another "primary" but it never happened...obviously there are some disagreements amongst them...
