So what? Her first election as Attorney General in 2010 she barely won despite both Democrat senate candidates soundly defeating their Republican opponents. In 2016 her Senate run was largely a no contest she didn't earn the victory due to anything popular she did. It was right place right time. You have seen her, she is not a good politician. The only reason she was picked for the VP ticket was because they wanted a woman of color and she had the Obama endorsement. She won 2 elections (Attorney General and Senator) in a jurisdiction with more people than Canada. That cannot be forgotten. She was not a good presidential solo candidate I agree. But the discussion is this fevered bullshit that she slept her way to the top and did nothing in her life. Not true at all.
Biden ran for president 3 times and did not do well at all (even when obama picked him as VP he was like running 4th or something like that) until 2020, when he finally got nomination.
Again, I'm not gaga over her at all, and wish Mitch Landrieu or a handful of others had a shot. That's why I endorsed the "july madness" tournament that James Carville suggested, so the Ds could gracefully get around the kamala issue.
No Bernie was a mayor -he was elected mayor of Burlington, Vermont in 1981. He was re-elected three times. In 1991, he became a United States representative for Vermont's at-large congressional district. He was a congressman for 16 years prior to being a senator.Don't you mean Pete? Sanders was a Congressman and Senator for about 30 years.
Um, that's not how commercial real estate works. For guys like us it's about income, equity and formulas. For guys like Trump and other billionaires it's a different set of rules.Do you intentionally lie when you apply for a loan and I don't mean little white lies, I'm referring to large-scale $$$$$ lies? When you file your taxes do you wildly exaggerate your deductions?
Yair but she won. Not many people have done what she did. So the idea being propagated that she somehow hasn't done anything is wrong. She deserves some props and her work questioning individuals as a senator was good and intelligent. Sarah Palin was a vilified a bit but she had been a mayor and was elected a governor, and I've always respected that (even though the state had less people than the city of San Francisco). She did devolve into something comical though. Who knows where Kamala will go. As I said, she's not my first choice. So what? The reality here is that Trump was the one who offered the inflated valuations. Should the banks have done more due diligence? Yes, of course. But here's a reality check for you: lying on documents about things like that is FRAUD. You can spin it anyway you like, but it is not legal or ethical. Now, about the "agreed upon price" you're talking about. That goes for an actual sale! You can price your home for $14m, doesn't mean anyone will buy it. But, if I thought it was worth it, that's on me. I am buying it with all that risk. Insurance and loans are different beasts, which I surely hope you understand.Bullshit.
At any time a property is assessed at various prices. There is what you bought it for, what the bank thinks it's worth if it's remortgaged, what a real estate agent would list it for, what the city assesses it at, what insurance assesses it at. All use an inspection and tables. Then on some cases the market adds or subtracts. B
Right now my house is assessed much less than it's market value for my taxes as an example. As is yours. Are you running to the city to demand they increase it? If you put your house up for 1 million, someone offers you 1.2, would you say "oh no, that's fraud" to accept more?
If insurance comes to you, says we value it at X for the purposes of fees, do you argue? When you go to get a credit line, is it on you or the bank to determine the house value?
That's why the charges were stupid. Because real estate doesn't have a fixed value, how can you charge when two parties AGREE ON THE PRICE for whatever the transaction is,?
And who is "They?" Misogynists? People who want to slander her or grind her down? Basically, cowards who spread lies. They don't call her 'Headboard' Harris for nothing
But this time, she's running against an old, senile dummy. So she should have an easy win.So what? She had an affair with Brown. And recieved her first political appointments under his purvue during that time. It was her doorway to California Democrat politics and it's machine. And who is "They?" Misogynists? People who want to slander her or grind her down? Basically, cowards who spread lies.
Then why was he the first one ever charged in 100 years in NYC? And no other real estate mogul since? The reality here is that Trump was the one who offered the inflated valuations. Should the banks have done more due diligence? Yes, of course. But here's a reality check for you: lying on documents about things like that is FRAUD. Your slip is showing madam.Um, that's not how commercial real estate works. For guys like us it's about income, equity and formulas. For guys like Trump and other billionaires it's a different set of rules.
The city chooses the value. The Bank chooses to value. All Trump did was argue it. It's legal to do that. There was no fraud because there was no victim. The bank got paid back. The city got the taxes it set the value at.
This is the core thing. Trump had no power here. He has to accept their valuations. That's why this is so weird.
But really it's impossible to lie as a homeowner for a credit line. Or to lie to the city.
They were both single. Thus it's pejorative to label it an affair. They dated. Yes, he helped her get appointed to a board. And endorsed her for DA, and throughout her career. She had an affair with Brown. And recieved her first political appointments under his purvue during that time. It was her doorway to California Democrat politics and it's machine.
Not many men can go from a fraudster to president either (and remain a fraudster). Not sure if it’s a compliment though.Lad relax, it was a compliment for her. She went fron skank to president rather fast. Not many women can pull that off.
I hate gutter posts like this from Loonie Laura. Its easy enough to criticize Kamala on her putrid record alone. The pathetic slut-shaming has already started.
After all, this is a party that just veep-nommed Catholic incel-boy JD Vance to lead it!!!

LOL. No, she did not. Brown was separated from his wife decades before they dated, and all he did not appoint her. She was elected as DA. Massive fucking difference, but why let facts get in the way of a good slandering....She had an affair with Brown. And recieved her first political appointments under his purvue during that time. It was her doorway to California Democrat politics and it's machine.
CLAIM:
Harris got her start by having an affair with a married man, California politician Willie Brown.
THE FACTS:
This is missing some important context. Brown was separated from his wife during the relationship, which was not a secret.
Brown, 90, is a former mayor of San Francisco who was serving as speaker of the California State Assembly in the 1990s when he and Harris were in a relationship. Brown had separated from his wife in 1982.
“Yes, we dated. It was more than 20 years ago,” Brown wrote in 2020 in the San Francisco Chronicle under the article title, “Sure, I dated Kamala Harris. So what?”
He wrote that he supported Harris’ first race to be San Francisco district attorney—just as he has supported a long list of other California politicians, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, former Sen. Dianne Feinstein and Gov. Gavin Newsom.
Harris, 59, was state attorney general from 2011-2017 and served in the Senate from 2017 until 2021, when she became Vice President. She has been married to Doug Emhoff since 2014.
Harris’ critics have used the past relationship to question her qualifications, as Fox News personality Tomi Lahren did when she wrote on social media in 2019: “Kamala did you fight for ideals or did you sleep your way to the top with Willie Brown.” Lahren later apologized for the comment.
Trump and some of his supporters have also highlighted the nearly three-decade old relationship in recent attacks on Harris.
Could be a number of reasons. Probably the biggest was the Michael Cohen tipped off the DA about it. I would imagine this has been done in the past, but the banks might have cancelled the loans when it was discovered. Then why was he the first one ever charged in 100 years in NYC? And no other real estate mogul since?
