Was she elected to be the Vice or was she appointed?

Are you honestly telling me that she was more qualified than Bernie Sanders?
No. Bernie was a mayor. Executive experience helps a ton.
However, she was elected. As an elected officer Biden cannot fire her. That's how it works in USA. Biden did pick her though. And he picked her for political reasons, as what ALWAYS happens in USA politics for VP. Pence was picked because he was meek, would not overshadow Trump, and could help deliver evangelicals. Kamala helped with blacks and women and was younger. Biden was picked by Obama because he was older, seasoned, and white. VPs are always selected to fill some political gap. But they are elected as much as the president in the eyes of the law. Can't be fired, unlike a chief of staff, etc.

I wasn't a big Kamala fan. I'm still not. If she's learned a bit of humility and organization, I'm good with her.
However, I'd prefer about half a dozen others over her. Given she's looking inevitable, I'd wish she did admiral Stavridis, or Senator Mark Kelly, as VP. I like booty-judge a ton too. However he looks 12 and the gay thing might be tough to overcome. I wish not, but I think it does to some of the working class.

She ran for the Democratic president nominee in 2020 and came 16th out of 18. She finished worse than Marianne Williamson for crying out loud.
She won 2 elections (Attorney General and Senator) in a jurisdiction with more people than Canada. That cannot be forgotten. She was not a good presidential solo candidate I agree. But the discussion is this fevered bullshit that she slept her way to the top and did nothing in her life. Not true at all.
Biden ran for president 3 times and did not do well at all (even when obama picked him as VP he was like running 4th or something like that) until 2020, when he finally got nomination.
Again, I'm not gaga over her at all, and wish Mitch Landrieu or a handful of others had a shot. That's why I endorsed the "july madness" tournament that James Carville suggested, so the Ds could gracefully get around the kamala issue.

His CFO is in gaol for fraud, as was his attorney. He has also been found to have committed tax fraud, not to mention his charity and his university (among other things) were adjudicated frauds.
He took things well beyond extremes.
You didn't answer the question.

Getting a Democratic nomination in California is as good as winning the election. And she was polling behind Andrew Yang in fifth in that same state during the primary.

You can be a Senator but have people say not good enough for President.

Don't you mean Pete? Sanders was a Congressman and Senator for about 30 years.

Kamala will beat Trump.

There is no way the US has enough stupid people to elect the dude who salute the late great Hannibal Lecter.

He has been leading in the polls.

Although if what I am hearing is true, the Republicans are for some reason terrified, talking about sueing Biden for dropping out?
WTF. You are too old to run you should not be president
OK I'll drop out

You can't write this shit in a million years

Seems Trump et al have been pounding on the whole Biden is an old man but they don't have that anymore. Instead they have Trump who is roughly the same age and very prone to also flubbing and saying weird shit [Confusing the president of Hungary and Turkey, thinking Biden will start WWII as well as many Coveffe moments. Now that Biden is gone, Trumps senility moments will be in stark contrast to Kamala. There is so much footage out there, only not only was Biden a bit worse, but Trump was such a buffon that expectations were low

Also wouldn't it be just marvelous if Trump got beaten by a diversity hire [and make no mistake Kamala was only hired because he is non white and has a vagine. I am sure he would find a away to spin this and his followers would go down on their knees and slurp it up, but it would be hilarious to everyone else, getting beat by the B team.

I didn't like her chances because he is unpleasant in a Dean Scream/Nixon vs Kennedy kinda way and has baggage, and her polling numbers were not much different than Trump, but those numbers have been improving and maybe one on one vs a literal psychopath like Trump and without senility concerns she might make a go of it. I mean really beating Trump shouldn't be very difficult. THe guy and his followers are bat shit crazy and he picked a VP who 1: Thinks he could be an American Hitler and 2: is hard core redneck and total program 2025 material. If that doesn't drive away the middle to Kamala then you know what, the US deserves Trump, they deserve worse than Trump. Pity his bat shit crazy will screw over the rest of the world because the US is an 800 pound gorilla on the world stage.

Bullshit.

At any time a property is assessed at various prices. There is what you bought it for, what the bank thinks it's worth if it's remortgaged, what a real estate agent would list it for, what the city assesses it at, what insurance assesses it at. All use an inspection and tables. Then on some cases the market adds or subtracts. B

Right now my house is assessed much less than it's market value for my taxes as an example. As is yours. Are you running to the city to demand they increase it? If you put your house up for 1 million, someone offers you 1.2, would you say "oh no, that's fraud" to accept more?

If insurance comes to you, says we value it at X for the purposes of fees, do you argue? When you go to get a credit line, is it on you or the bank to determine the house value?

That's why the charges were stupid. Because real estate doesn't have a fixed value, how can you charge when two parties AGREE ON THE PRICE for whatever the transaction is,?
I guess the bank is silly then when one purchases a home and they demand an appraisal to assess value.

What are you talking about? That is the fucking point. The banks also did an assessment of Trump properties he borrowed against. Right? Again how is it fraud if both sides agreed with the numbers, and all money borrowed was paid back?

Let's break down what you said and see WTF I am talking about shall we??

Read over what you said and then ask yourself, what was Squeezer referring to.

NOW, if one gets an appraisal done, is that not what the property is worth if you require a loan or insurance?? A Realtor's opinion on worth does not override the appraisal before a sale. A listing price does not mean value as we know Sellers and Realtors can list a property at whatever they like. Therefore if Trump was aware of an appraisal and either intentionally underestimated or overestimated the value by substantial amounts was he not attempting fraud?

Decrepit Old Fart worth $5.9 billion...LMHAO.

He's claimed bankruptcy three times and nearly broke Chase Manhattan Bank, some billionaire. The GOP hate women, of course they are going to attack Kamala Harris's character. Willie Brown, is that the former Oakland Raider?

Declaring he was worth more was what took Trump Org to trial in the first place.
You have to be a moron to believe he's telling the truth about it this time.

No. Because it's up to the bank.
