Everybody who was paying attention, knew judge Cannon was never going to let this go to trial before the election. She slow-walked this case to death, right up until Clarence Thomas gave her permission/instructions to dismiss the case. Now this case won't go trial this year or ever, so she did her job to help the clown. Dumb Donald wins, don't be surprised if he nominates her corrupt ass for the Supreme Court.

Dropping the case is her ticket to the SCOTUS.
Its worth the risk of being censured if the dems win.

Remember Biden has the same immunity. But he won't when it comes to the crooked supreme court.

So hunter Biden will be thrown out too. Nixon posthumously overturned.
I see none of the decision driven by evidence.
So, it seems merrick garland had to prosecute. The Biden justice department. That's what she's saying. She based her ruling on the lone dissenter, not the USSC 8-1 decision. And despite the fact court's above and below her have affirmed the special counsel law. Really. Wow.

America’s decline into fascism and authoritarianism continues. These are the kinds of decisions that lead to political violence.
☹
Really? Because historically it's been fascists and totalitarians who have employed political violence to obtain and retain power. What we're seeing at this time is violence perpetrated against those who stand opposed to those in power. Your model is is constructed backwards, at least based on recent events.

I agree. And the right wingers are carrying on that tradition of theirs. January 6 and trump declaring that he'll be a dictator starting Day 1 and going after his political enemies.

I believe the Left and Right are equally capable of violence.

I also think at some point if people believe that they have no voice and cannot trust the legal system then violence is inevitable as people attempt to take the law into their own hands.

The political violence came from the left in the 60s and 70s. The only people talking "second amendment solutions" now are from the right, and the perpetration of violence in the past few years has been from the right.
So yes, extremists are bad regardless left or right.

The world powers are shifting to Russi and China as America delines. Trump doesn't care as long as he's King of America.

Jan 6 - a bunch of unarmed right wing yahoos occupy the capital and take some selfies for their social media pages (a stunt routinely performed by the left), and one of them is killed for it, and dozens are jailed and ludicrously overcharged by the DOJ
Trump - a politician who upsets the status quo and drives the left literally insane - and he is shot for it.

Starting to see the real pattern here?
