I think more non Muslims would want to know that they are eating Halal so that they can choose whether they want to or not. Some don't care but some (like myself) do.
And the reason that I care is that Halal slaughter makes the animal suffer more. They don't believe in rendering the animal unconscious before they kill it. They cut the jugular vein and let it bleed out.
Be careful friend. Some woke flakes will send hate your way bc you practiced freedom of expression in saying you don’t like halal meet. And for some ppl these days, your opinion is wrong and evil if it does not adhere to their beliefs.
I agree with you. I think we all have a right, as paying consumers to know what we’re eating.

I make a damn good grilled cheese, myself.

Saute some onions, and fry up a bit of bacon to put on it and then a tall super cold glass of milk to wash it all down.
Same. Never thought of sautéed onions. I’m a fan of them a beef, don’t think I’d like a grilled cheese. Bacon or ham is great on it.
But ya, grilled cheese and pasta are like the cheapest things you can cook for yourself at home. Paying 15-30 for a grilled cheese or bowl of pasta at a restaurant I can’t justif. All else is fair game.

What would Col. Saunders think? From the secret 11 herbs and spices to 72 Virgins! Last time I ate KFC it was only known as its full name, Kentucky Fried Chicken. Halal or not it’s still grade D pet food consumption poultry. Is the coleslaw still that radio active neon green colour?

With fast food restaurants prices going up,and burgers getting smaller and smaller, maybe they’ll just stop putting meat on buns entirely and say everything now is Hindu friendly.

Haven’t informed customers?
I was actually referring to Mary Brown's but this notice by KFC fails to mention that Halal certified chicken will be the only type of chicken offered by the restaurant.

Oh my goodness gracious! Watch out or you're going to grown a big long beard and start making your wife wear a Hijab if you let this chicken touch your lips! (If you haven't already learned not to eat shit that KFC serves now.

Halal chicken is handled with more care than regular factory processed chicken. I still can't stomach KFC. I like Popeyes and they've been serving Halal certified chicken since they came into Canada as the original franchisees were Muslims.
i understand you’re trying to appeal to logic which is clever but i think the issue is that halal is a “sacred” practice, not a secular one. It’s a practice with a long detailed documented history and it’s one from Islam. And I don’t really care how anyone would try to justify it, the reality is I actually dislike the idea that this fast food chain is pandering to a religious demographic. I don’t eat that shit anyway. I stay fit so that these women enjoy me as much as I enjoy them but the reality is it’s just pandering to a religious demographic and its underlying superstitions and ignorance. Who eats at KFC and actually cares about the well being of animals?

"Pandering"? Or expanding their client base and making their food more accessible without any actual downside to anyone. Except those Karens who are ignorant or against Islamic religion.

BUt like you, I don't eat KFC anyways. I used to like their :alien:Radioactive Green:alien: Coleslaw and their Macaroni Salad but they have changed and I no longer like the taste.

Having said all that, besides not liking their restaurants, I think YUM Foods are a gross, greedy company and I don;t eat in any of their stores.

Are you folks aware that in Canada , it is not necessary for labels to identify if a product is GM.

Now folks can provide their rants about, the difference between Halal, and GM foods from a health aspect.

As a nonbeliever in Muslim, Christian, Jewish and Trump MAGA cults - I am floored by the stupidity of avoiding food that has passed safety regulations because of some voodoo anti-curse prayer/ ritual.

Just to tempt fate - I will eat a sub with Hatel chicken, Kosher beef, crisp bacon on a Friday. It is my way of giving the finger to you bigoted twisted religion factions that fuck up the world with your hate and intolerance.

Your place!!
Haven’t been to kfc in years, chicken never fully cooked! Considering they are catering to a very small percentage of the population this may backfire quickly!

I've eaten Halal meat many times as I have friends who are Muslim. So cut the crap.
I was not aware that Popeye's Canada was fully Halal and have been for a long time.
Why can't they have both options why are we eating Halal when less than 10% of our population is Muslim?
I couldn't wait for Shake Shack to come here, once I found out they meat was Halal I had zero interest. They don't do this in the U.S so why do it here?
It's the principle to me.

Does it make any difference if the chickens are halal or circumcised?

What a admirable principle to defend!

What exactly is this noble principle you are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for?

And they haven't informed customers that this is what they are serving. Just appalling behavior on behalf of Yum Brands!, the parent company.
Is that in he US as well? I am a big supporter of ethnically pure foods. I still call sauerkraut Liberty Cabbage and don't get me stated on kosher delis...
