When I was learning French in English school, they taught me how to say useful phrases I would use often, like "That reminds me of the time when I was playing in a puddle of water", (Ca me rapelle le temps ou je jouais dans une flaque d'eau).

In the French school, students were being taught equally useful English phrases, like "Head cheese is neither head nor cheese".

After the creation of Adam (A) and Eve (E), who lived happily in the Garden of Eden; with little else to do it was inevitable that boredom would kick in...so questions started:

E: Are we black or white?
A: I don't know but it doesn't matter what we are.
E: But I would like to know, so in your meeting with God today please ask him.

Before the meeting between God and A concluded, the latter asked, "Lord, did you create us white or black?

God answers by saying You are who you are.

A returns home and tells E that God answered her question by saying You are who you are.

E gets excited and says "I knew it, we were created white" A asks how can you tell, the Lord didn't say that.

E: The Lord said that You are who you are which means we are white. If we were black the Lord would have said "You is who you is"

I once put soomething nice and respectful in a Tinder profile about not being interested in single moms...HOLY FUCK! A few women paid to send me "Super Like" messages just to go off on me! I didn't even know about this feature. Yeah, point made.

I also got matches that skipped the kids part and when it came up I simply said that I have enough in my life already without having to take the implications and priorities of kids into a relationship. A few went off but most were respectful of me being honest and not just trying to get into their pants.
