Ahh yes.
The guy who famously thought HIV was a hoax and believed in astrology and met a talking raccoon alien.
Who also died before COVID-19 and so never commented on it.
Convenient timing and he didn't have the chance to comment on it in real life, but he did comment the PCR test and its potential for (intentional) misuse and Fauci never took Mullis up on his offer for a debate (too scared?).
Mullis was much more of an intellect than Fauci could ever be.
His belief on HIV was that HIV is not the cause of AIDS.
It may be surprising to learn that the credited inventor of the most important workhorse in molecular biology—the polymerase chain reaction or PCR—once claimed he had seen a talking fluorescent raccoon near his cabin, which may or may not have been an alien. He also disagreed with the science on...

He took LSD, to him a mind enhancing drug. Tell me you never smoked a joint in your life and thought of or came up with some ideas that some would think would be "out there" but to you they were real.
Only the difference here would be this dude was an actual scientist and genius, whereas you and I are not.
I would side with him over the bureaucrat. He pushed the boundaries of science and had the exact right mind for it.
Btw, his PCR test was abused and manipulated for nefarious reasons, he called it well before he died, again, conveniently before COVID.
A little addendum, Nikola Tesla was considered crazy too.
Nikola Tesla is probably the greatest inventor that the world ever knew. His inventions are used world wide and he has left his mark on this world through his inventions. Now what I am wondering is where did all these rumors and hype come from about Tesla and aliens and free energy and...
