Why is it not surprising that your headline is about anti Palestinian racism but the body of your post doesn't mention Palestinians at all?
Why is it that you didn’t even read past the headline or the article before accusing everyone and every thing of racism?

or have you degenerated past considered discussion to the point of being the Palestinian-Xitter re-poster ersion of @Addict2sex?

I’ve read it and it’s piece of racist clap trap. Did you read the primary text that outlines the Palestinian proposal yourself?

If not, here it is. Much better than taking the axiomatic claims of racism penned by the president of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs.

The quote was a summary of the article. Jewish groups are pushing back against APR (anti Palestinian racism) in schools because '90% of Canadian Jews support the state of Israel'. Its come up in other stories and I know the background just as I know the pushback.

The argument being made is quite ridiculous. First it implies that if you can't be racist towards Palestinians you can't support Israel and second its one ethnic group arguing that its unfair to legislate against racism towards another group.

Do you think this line of argument is something that should be taken seriously?
You think its ok to push against anti semitism in schools but its wrong to push against anti Palestinian racism too?

I am not going to enter into debate with you because you deliberately mischaracterize what I say and impute improper, hateful motives to my words.

And you are slippery. You seldom answer the question posed to you, and instead, use it as an opportunity to tee off into your predictable accusatory diatribes. As you have here.

You POST POST POST xitter shit and expect everyone to lap it up, yet you admit you don't even read or listen to what others have to say.

You are the poster boy for "No Jews=No news.
I heard in the news today they are going to release Paul Bernardo from Prison.
CP 24 interviewed Frankfooter and he said "Who cares, he isn't Jewish so what he did can't be all that bad"

Is true. I no lie.

Hey Schlong, if you feel I've mischaracterized that article point out how I've done so and we'll discuss it.
I don't think I have, as I've seen other similar pieces pushing the same narrative.

Its an offshoot of some of the discussions about the government accepted terms of racism. There was a push to recognize Islamaphobia as racism, which took a while to implement. The right wing side of Jewish organizations pushed for a definition of antisemitism in response that came from the Holocaust Museum, the IHRA definition. That definition is very problematic as it labels criticism of Israel as antisemitic. Rather than take my word for it or post something from the xitter, I'd have you look at Independent Jewish Voices Canada and their page on the definition.

Where this ties into the article in question is that right Jewish organizations that are more tied to Israel managed to get the government of Canada to recognize this IHRA definition as the Canadian definition of antisemitism. But that means that according to this definition discussing anti Palestinian racism is an attack on Israel which they say is an attack on the Jewish people so therefore antisemitic. Which is what that article is trying to push, the idea that saying racism against Palestinians is wrong is antisemitic.

That's why I knew what that article was pushing and that one paragraph just summed up their views. My view, which is based of the IJVCanada take, is that the IHRA definition is intentionally messed up in order to stifle debate about Israel, and as a result adds to antisemitism. It used to be that the Israel supporters here argued that Israel is a democratic state, now they argue that its Jewish instead. Anti zionist Jewish groups are pushing against this definition as they don't want Jews around the world to be tied to a government committing genocide.

I posted a quick answer for shack because that's all he needs in this debate, I filled it out for you so you could understand that its not a refusal to listen but that argument has been raised here before and doesn't need that degree of explanation for most of the people in these threads.

Fair?

Glad to hear that you got fully stocked at the LCBO in prep for the strike.
Take it easy, though.

If Bernardo were released he'd probably be happier hanging with rump, given what we've learned in the last couple of days from the Epstein court docs.
Either that or he could join the IDF, he'd fit right in there.

Israel has every right to defend themselves from terror attacks like Oct.7 and is fighting to protect the lives of their citizens, just like any sovereign nation. That is totally unlike Hamas who had no respect for the 1,200 lives they took that day, but they especially have no respect for the lives of their own people, upon whom they are committing incestuous genocide, using them as nothing more than pawns and hoping they become martyrs.
I agree with going after Hamas, but you don't need to absolutely destroy the place and kill 35000 civilians to do it, unless you have no respect for life. How many times does 1200 go into 35000? That's not defence , it's ethnic cleansing.

Even stupider, this attack has created 20,000 orphans along with others who have lost families and will be justified in hating Israelis for the rest of their life.
The best Israel can hope for, since the actual ethnic cleansing into Egypt was refused, is to have killed enough Palestinians to lead them into submission for a few years. But everyone has to know that even if you kill everyone in Hamas this will start a new generation of those will use violence to resist the occupation going forward.

There never was an end goal for this attack on Gaza, Netanyahu has been using it to prop up his failing political career and even now he can't stop it or he'll be done as a politician. There is no military objective left.

I call it incestuous genocide seeing that Hamas had a hand in every single death. They knew what was going to happen before they launched Oct.7 You cannot absolve Hamas and blame it all on Israel.

p.s. There has never been a war where the loss of life has been proportionate. The loss of life at Hiroshima and Nagasaki was nowhere near proportionate to Pearl Harbor.

Nobody knows what the actual numbers are in Gaza, but each one is a tragedy.

You are the epitome of anti Palestinian racism, Shazi.
...
Under you definition, you've repeatedly said it's racist to say Hamas is a terror group and now say it's racist to think Israel should be allowed to exist beside a Palestinian state.

I spent a few (delicious!) hours at the Taste of the Middle East Festival at Nathan Philips Square yesterday and today. Holy shit, the line ups for anything cooked, like the kebabs, were an hor long today ...but f'ing tasty! Lots of different regional middle eastern foods, people spontaneously dancing to the music... was really nice.

Didn't seem to be any overt pro-Palestinian actions going on. For that matter, no 'pro-anything' or 'anti-anything'. Just people having a good time. Every booth/tent had a defined national origin from Turkish coffees, to Yemeni Iced Pistachio Lattes to Lebanese Olive Oil and various country's versions of cardamom flavoured coffees etc. So many ice-cream styles unique to different countries. Even Dubai chocolate which is apparently distinct in its richness. I need to get prescribed some insulin for next time!

I did see this one clothing booth where they were selling tasteful Pro-Palestinian clothes. I really liked this upside down watermelon slice smile t-shirt with the slogan "Existence is Resistance". But not for $40!

Anyways, it was a great time and I encourage anyone who has had enough of Frankies bilious spewing to go down and spend some positive vibe times with these Middle Eastern people! Will refresh your appreciation of the richness of inclusive Canadian culture and that we can all get along.

No way I'd ever line up for an hour for food and I say that as a fat guy. But then my fat guy sloth is stronger than my fat guy gluttony I guess.

Nah, Shazi.
Israel killed most of the people on Oct 7 with the Hannibal Doctrine.
Then Israel chose genocide, not Hamas.

Own it, you wanted it, you love it and seeing pictures of the deaths of Palestinians makes you a happy Shazi.

No, basketcase.
Its racist do declare all Palestinians are 'Hamas' and therefore terrorists, as the Shazis of this board do regularly.
Hamas and Israel commit acts of terrorism, but you have to charge those who commit and command that terrorism.

Hamas that's a small number, Israel its a massive number.
Israeli settler terrorist attacks are far more numerous than Hamas attacks alone.
Then you need to recognize that the genocide of Gaza has been a 10 month long terrorist attack on 2 million refugees.

The intentional starvation of Gaza is just one long form of terrorism.

Hate speech, Geno. The feds are looking, so keep your identity hidden. I'd do the same thing.

Hamas chose and continues to choose incestuous genocide. That is the sole reason why the obstuct every single valid ceasefire. they don't want peace. Their whole campaign is predicated on having as many Gazans as possible die so as to demonize Israel. Guess what, Geno, it ain'e working. The world sees through their smoke screen and makes Hamas even more reviled than ever.

You should, Shazi, promoting genocide like you do here carries a 5 year jail sentence in Canada.

No, Shazi.

Israel chose genocide, the chose to drop 2000 lb bombs on homes and schools, they chose to blow up hospitals and block all aid.
That is all on zionists like you.
