Who said anything about austerity? That's you putting words in other people's mouths again.
We pay enough taxes. The solution can't be to just keep paying more taxes. That hasn't been working.
We need to stop governments bribing us with our own money just to remain in power. It's unsustainable & stupid.
So when Liberal governments screw up our country, it's quickly dismissed as "a global problem"? Keep in mind they've been in power for almost 10 years.
Hypocrisy at its finest right there.
Depends on the issue. El Salvador has done well with crime. Poland has done well with illegal immigration. Argentina is too soon to tell, but lets see what happens.

El Salvador clamped down on crime. Poland clamped down on immigration. Argentina is clamping down on socialism.
Sometimes, the people just have to say, "that's fucking enough".

And does that make those countries you'd rather live in?
Has it fixed poverty, inflation or high housing costs?
All of those places had higher crime rates than Canada to begin with, didn't they?

The amount I have been paying in taxes has gone up every year of my life. I have paid more in taxes in the last year than I have ever paid.

Venezuela pissed of the US, they backed a coup to take their oil off the market.
The model I support is more along Denmark or EU countries, skoob.
The model you support gave you Brexit and the UK, its giving you shit in the US and now its giving away public assets here in Ontario.
You really need to look at what you think is successful.
