No one will give up much for mediocore players as they are everywhere but ...

Philles catcher is down so trade Jansen , Mookie Betts is down so trade Bochette. Orioles need reliever so trade Romano and Garcia.

Lots of Teams drool for a quality starting pitcher and Vlad

Varsho is Blue JAys MVP with his defensive skills and WAR

We can become the most highly rated farm system in baseball if we trade everybody
I agree with almost everything with the exception of Garcia. Him and Richards are about the only two consistent relievers the jays have. He's had some bad outings, but he's saved way more games than he's blown, compare to Romano, who they should have gotten rid of last year in a 4 way package deal, Romano, Kurk, Vladdy, kiermaier.

Varsho is having a great season, funny thing is the Jays almost didn't sign Varsho this season and you go figure, he's one of the best if not the best hitter we have.

I agree about Richards as he is a quality long reliever that is always in demand so trade him?

You you only get quality for quality.and the deadline is always a sellers market esp this year

Jays have to make a hard decisión about how long it will take to be a contender then trade according to that time line

IMHO IT IS NOT NEXT YEAR so everyone is tradeable and do nit worry about attendance. Fan will fill a stadium only if team is a contender

The Maple Leafs are an exception to the rule but not the Jays

We must have faith in Atkins to make the right decisions.

Vladimir Guerrero has 7 home runs this year. Aaron Judge has 27. Think about that… …. I would be surprised if Vladimir even hits 15 this year. At this point, the only thing that will make me happy about this team, is if they make Hernandez the primary target in the off-season. Offer him four at 100. And let’s bring him home once and for all. And never ever mess with the Dominican Blue Jay chemistry again.

BRING BACK OL' GIBBY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL! I doubt he would want to work under current management who call the game from the booth.

What a joke these two are.

Rogers is not afraid to spend the money and they have no clue on how to build a team. The fans need to stop going to games and TV ratings to fall.

Last season they made the post season on pitching alone. Everyone and their blind uncle knew that hitting was a BIG concern. They did nothing to improve that situation - Nothing! This is a club that has a top ten payroll in the game. No excuse for this.

Time to clean house and bring in a new leadership group. The rot and stench of the current GM and club management needs to be removed.

Forgot to add,,,

Shneider is a fucking puppet. He has no balls, no spine and zero integrity as a leader. The way he turtles to the demands of management...How can he get any respect in the clubhouse?

Last year in the play-offs when he pulled Berrios, he lost the team. It is evident they have no respect playing for him, just look at their game. There is no passion and commitment on this team.

A total loser and sad excuse of a manager. Why he has not resigned is beyond me.

He needs to be flushed out of the game for allowing himself to be owned.

Those exact thoughts were going through my mind today.

Votto, Vogelbach, IKF, Turner. Useless. They supposedly had $700M for Ohtani but ZERO for any other significant bat? A fucking joke.

I'd ease up on Schneider. He's low man on the management totem pole. He had a good reputation and good relationship with the players while coming up through the minor league system. Like most people in life he has bosses, and ultimately has to do what they say. I'm sure he gives them his opinion on how things should be, but they call the final shots. I think the players understand this and probably sympathize. Sacrificing his career will do nothing to improve the Jays, and will probably damage his future in baseball. Keep the heat up on upper management, but cut Schneider some slack.

I never understood how the fuck Vlad won his arbitration case this year. I have to tell you, I never even liked him when he was playing decent. Now that he sucks, every day I wake up hoping to read he's been traded. It's obvious this team needs to retool. At this point, you need to package Springer with one of the stars. Possibly Bo. If Martinez shows any sign he can hit at the big league level, I would be moving off Bo and tell a team looking for an SS, you have to take Springer with him.

I have no idea why people even give a shit about Schneider at this point. Literally the last person I think off when it comes to what this club needs to fix between players and people above Schneider. Getting rid of Schneider isn't going to accomplish anything.

LOL. What gets me is this blatant waste of time. The firing of Atkins is inevitable. The longer we wait, the more we suffer. I can’t believe the Blue Jays have become this old boys club where Shapiro protects Atkins,. It is pathetic. Every media source in the city wants this man gone. Does Shapiro not have the ability to read the news?

Philip
I know its so frustrating to endure this nonsense when the writing is so clearly on the wall. We need to make a bunch of trades before the deadline, a new GM should have been hired weeks ago.

When he had that breakout year in 2021 I thought yes this is the guy to get us back into playoff contention for years. But its been downhill ever since. He'd rather be dancing in the dugout as opposed to studying the opposition and improving his game. This year is appalling 7 HR and 30 RBI through 74 games played. Its time to cut bait.

This worries me. The marriage between Shapiro and Atkins is probably very deeply rooted. I don’t see Atkins being gone unless the both of them are fired. And with this organization and the way the investors, sponsors and ownership have always been set up since it’s inception in the 70s, it’s not really the type of an organization that tends to fire the president. It seems like a bunch of corporate people letting the president do his thing. We’ve had 6 presidents since the 70s, 4 of them resigned, and one of them actually was appointed by Interbrew as he was an actual employee of Interbrew looking after the investment. The only way Shapiro will dismiss Atkins in my honest opinion, is once Shapiro feels the heat from ownership and starts paying attention to the media. Everybody wants Atkins gone. How long can this possibly be ignored?

Springer has had such a ridiculously sharp decline. This regime was smart enough to avoid locking up Donaldson and Bautista long-term when they were approaching their decline….. but they really fumbled on Springer by signing a 31 year-old to six years. But then again on the other hand would he have ever signed in Toronto in the first place unless he got his six years?

This is why I can't stand him. I could tolerate it a bit in that 2021 year, but still hated it. I'm old school, respect the game. Play hard, get your nose dirt, grind out at bats..etc. Now that he sucks, it drives me nuts even more. I have way more sympathy for a guy when I can see the effort and the right emotion is there. Right emotion being pissed off when you fucked up. Pissed off your playing bad. Pissed off your team is losing. When your hitting .280 with 7 HR's, and all your hits and HR's are meaningless because there's nobody on base and never in the clutch, your stupid fucking dancing makes you look like a pompous gullible jack ass. I'll throw a party when he's traded, and he can't the dumb the HR jacket with him.

Correct, it was widely known that Jays had to give him an extra year then most other teams to get him to Toronto.
