so tell me... after 9 years...who's at the helm trying to balance the budget? has it balanced after 9 years? has the Arrivecan balanced the budget? Will carbon tax balance it? will capital gains tax balance it? I think your asking the wrong person here....ask daddy Trudeau how...he's time is running out and still hasn't balanced it...
So I asked you how you'd balance the budget. Not the same diatribe about Trudeau this, lefties that etc. Answer it based on actual ground realities that the administration faced with a pandemic etc over the last 9 years. Go ahead.
Capitalism in a nutshell.
The whole idea of Communism is to convince the working class to support the ideology until it's too late to reverse it. Then they're worse off than before.
The notion that rich people are bad is a key tactic used by Communists to achieve their goal.
Just because someone has more money than you doesn't mean they are bad people. And it also doesn't mean you should feel entitled to their wealth.
In a democratic society, you are free to generate as much wealth as you can. Some are better at it than others. We shouldn't reward under-achievers.
So if you hate rich people like Musk, Bezos, etc...you have the freedom to not buy their products or use their services. Capitalism inspires innovation.
Musk, Bezos, Gates are pure cunt. They would be on fire I would not piss on them. Much of their close family would not either.
There is a difference between paying your share due in taxes with being happy that you went to space in a penis capsule while your employee needs to piss in a bottle to make production goals.
I am a capitalist. I have built a company that still exist with employees in 5 different countries (mostly Canada and Portugal). Yet I am intelligent to understand that you can only eat one steak per day. Or ideally every other day. The rest of the time you should give your steak to people in need.
Maybe because the model had proven to be stable and after many years they could share part of the profit to the private industry, while maintaining a big portion of the power over Hydro 1.
What is your solution to avoid having tent campground in the middle of the city? Do you think we can rely on the developers to solve it? These guys are not crazy they won't do anything without huge profits down their pockets. Which is fine but will never meet demands.
By the way what I am suggesting exist in many European countries as over there they hardly have any homeless in their street.

Imagine that....the notion that only the 1% will be hit by the capital gains is also stupid....there are middle class who will get hit by it....so what has the govt has show you so far that you think I might have a better idea how to.
You need to learn more about that new capital gain higher tax. I am currently in the process of selling a small building for 850k and you know what... It won't affect me. I spare you the details but believe me it won't affect many people.

The point that you clearly missed here is not how to balance a budget...but the fact that Trudeau said "the budget will balance itself" to his flock of supporters who remained blissfully unaware that what he was saying was nonsense. But they voted for him anyway.
