Scotland played very poorly in the opening match. Made Germany look much better than they are. The Germans always have a strong squad but I would put France, England, Portugal and Spain ahead of them.
Remember, you win football games by goal difference. Germany made more goals in her game than France, England and Spain combined.

You only miss the next game for a red card, or 2 yellow cards
Ok then for some reason I thought, one yellow card. But I bet he's still going to be sore, even with the mask. I'm sure someone is going to collide with him 😂 Some sites are saying the manager doubts he can play against Holland. (y)

Felt bad for Lukaku
The handball call was the worst decision made. VAR is shit... ESPECIALLY when they don't use it for deciding corner kicks vs goal kicks. A blatant deflection off t e goalie for a 100% corner, and the ref calls it a goal kick. Considering how many goals are scored by set pieces, how is this allowed in the VAR world?!

Belgium is old, Slovakia is young and athletic and they are coached by Maurizio Sarri's former assistant Francesco Calzona.

Joshua Zirkzee, Riccardo Calafiori and Lewis Ferguson are the core that drove Bologna into the CL. Had Ferguson been fit, not a chance that Germany humiliates The Warriors Scots.

In my pool I had Slovakia making it to the round of 16. They were my 'dark horse' pick.

Isn't it amazing how their country is "at war" but they can still play in the Euro Cup
It's good for the people's morale. Something to cheer for and take their mind off the Russian invaders for a few hours.

Giorgit Chiellini has retired from football, he hasn't shown up at the Euro yet. Considering the wars his nose has been through, what would he say about Mbappe getting his schnoz bent.
He is sitting as commutator for Fox sport during some Euro games...hilarious walked in with italia jersey.

i was expecting an intense match and i got it. Kvaratskhelia gave it his all, Turkiye has a deeper talent pool. It's 50/50 if Yildiz's goal should have counted.

Didn't know the Turks were into Bruckner.

I felt bad, the Georgians missed a whole bunch. but was a good game for sure. In other news Conte is going to be Napoli's manager, but Kvara might be leaving Napoli.

I saw Chiellini commentating on TSN4, was wearing a suit.

I think the empires are letting go too many fouls, they hammered Kvara.

Spoiler alert,

Portugal beat Czechia today 2-1 but they struggle against the Czech defenders. A couple of big mistakes by the Czech cost them the game including an autogoal, otherwise it would have been a tie game. Substitute player for Portugal Francisco Conceicao that came into the game at the 90th minute. scored the winning goal.

Cristiano Ronaldo was not a big factor on this game.

The Portuguese dominated but struggled big time to win.

I wouldn't say dominated when they struggled to score. But, yes, they had more possession of the ball cause after the Czech scored their first goal they were satisfied with that and decided to play for a tie and not to win. 2 big mistakes costs them the game.

after the Czech scored CR7 didn't panic he made signs to his teammates that it was ok. He knew they would comeback. They did.
What else could he do?
