Not sure what people thought but I thought more attention should have been paid to the fact that the majority of women on that site where simply bots or AM employees impersonating gorgeous women. I knew a woman who worked there back in the day and it was all BS. Literally 99.pct of the female profiles were fake.

That's the business model for Tinder and the rest of the hugely profitable dating apps. Eventually guys [paying subscription fees] figure this out; but not after playing the slot machine for a while.

The problem with dating ,sites is when they require a creditcard.. The issue was when they got hacked, hackers told some of the mens wives that they were cheating on there with proof records of credit card information. I'm still skeptical of viewing Only Fans girls for the same reason.
Visa/mastercard gift card can help you get around your worries

Not all online sites accept them. For instance I bought a malware and it refused my gift card . Then one other purchase would not work either .That was a few years ago unless now their more user friendly.
Not sure about your cases but I used creditcard gift cards on amazon without issue. Never tried on onlyfan nor Ashley

Very good point. I've never whipped out my cc info for anything sex related on the web.

Back in the early 2000s, when lavalife was all the rage, I had a good profile but no matter what I did I got hardly any responses. 1 in 20 if I was lucky, and only after reaching out to them, no chic ever randomly reached out to me.
As a test I created a fake female profile, called it "barbie" something, made it sound like i was one "hot dish", (no pic I believe bc they were reviewed). The profile literally got 100 pokes and emails within an.hr. so many cheesy responses.
Was entertaining but very educational how this game works

May i point out that dating sites are dangerous for us married men. These women won't sleep with me unless they find out my address what i do for a living plus they expect public outings.
About ten years ago I was on plenty offish and I was on business in another city far from the wife. I'm about to take a bite of my sandwich and I see my wifes sister walk in the same little diner we are in. I quicly bent over. My one night stander date starts making fuss about how shes not finished eating. Then the sister gets up to go to washroom. My behaviour went in order drive as i put my head down on the table covering my face as if i was a drunken bum.Once she went to washroom. I left a 100 on the table i told date to take cab home and pay for breakfast. I ran out .Found out later by asking the wife how her sister is doing ? The sister went to that city to buy a purebred. Never andI mean Never be in public with another woman it becomes the six degrees of separation that who you least expect is connected to you . Out of Country is safe lol not in Ontario.
Your public outing almost turned into a public 'outing'.

I think as soon as you are required to pay to talk to women on a website, you should assume there will be a lot of fake profiles

Same goes for us SPs, there are a lot of fake profiles on LL to encourage us spending more money on ads.

I remember reading an article back when this news happened. They talked to a lady who lived here in Toronto who was paid to respond to messages. She showed the job listing she applied to and it literally stated what her role is supposed to do.

I was shocked how no one saw this earlier. People probably thought it was a fake ad.

I always thought there's a scam there somewhere... Sure it's great to offer free membership to the ladies because after all, they are the drawing power...the market is "dating" but we all know who's willing to pay for pussy... now apart from the free membership for ladies... There were rumors that they (AM) also develop bots or paid women that honeydicked the male members...making them believe it's "that easy" in the online dating game even for married men...

Anything that has a subscription will generally not accept pre-paid visa/mastercard gift cards because they have limited funds available on them and therefore not really good for auto-renew set ups.

I was on AM in its earliest days and did something similar to get a sense of what the competition was like. And it was bad. What a fun time. It was like shooting fish in a barrel if you could write even reasonably well when the alternative was "Hey babe, wanna fuck." Sure there were lots of bots/employees, etc, but I met almost a dozen women ranging from MILFs to hot singles looking for no strings fun and had a great few years with a few regulars.

The trick to figuring out if a girl was real was to click on the "who's viewed you" tab. If the person sent a message but hadn't actually viewed your profile then that was 100% fake. Who would message someone they know zero about?

I had a pretty good SB at some point and she had initially not looked at my profile because “it’s all lies anyway and I’d rather just message”. (It sounded shockingly stupid to me then and it still does now).
The sheer stupidity with these girls should not be underestimated. A cute girl really does not feel pressure to get smart and many of them barely progress intellectually.

Fair enough but that strikes me as the exception to the rule.

Based on the article I read years ago when this first made the news. The lady whose job was to fool men never made first contact. She always replied to guys messages and flirt then ghost them.

The ghosting was rampant but that's the key to keep the guys going...the "competition" all of a sudden became not so fierce...the site made "access" to women easy....because it was a click away and when one doesn't work out, there are a few TDLs...guys will jump from one "prospect" to another....making it like that when in reality...guys are probably messaging 10 lady members and 8 of those profiles are from one employee and 2 legit...the odds are still favorable... let's face it... it was a perfect storm when the hackers show up and you got a site who didn't care about security for their clients...until it was too late.

They do this one OF too. Tons of ghost writers who make you think you are talking to the actual model. Getting bonus when they upsell private content.
