Are there any best arrival times to travel to Yorkville from the west? Is there a best exit from the QEW to go north and then west on main secondary streets? What about an escort who is scheduled for incalls in Etobicoke? Once I am set up at the Northern Red House in Yorkville, is it realistic to expect that an escort based in Etobicoke that day will be willing or able to travel to Yorkville for a 2 hour outcall? I like the Yorkville location because of the obvious nearby amenities. It also affords a quick and reliable exit from downtown via Bayview. I am trying to avoid traffic gridlock surprises for the next campaign trip.

Do the recent QEW lane closures dictate that incalls and outcalls should be limited to those escorts who are scheduled to be downtown? Some escorts do not live downtown. They must be making their own travel adjustments. I can see how one of my favorites has gravitated toward Etobicoke with usually only one day downtown, but I don't usually want to get back in a car until I leave or travel briefly to Markham. I do not think it is realistic to believe that an escort based at the Airport on a given day would also be avaiable for an outcall downtown even though "outcalls everywhere" are offered.

How are others coping with the increased travel gridlock? Outcall everywhere may be offered on paper but how can we make the present traffic situation easiest for both the escorts and us in reality? So far I have not received any straight talk insights on this from bookers. Downtown walking adventures and the ambiance of downtown, the Harbourfront, and Yorkville are still part of the fun here.

Waze each time you get in the car.

Here
You can't avoid traffic in this city l. So just leave earlier, pack a lunch, find something to occupy your mind and be comforted in the fact that you'll be doing this for the rest of your life

Not a commute I do, but I’d imagine the Bloor TTC would help. Goes right to Yorkville.

Other than that you might consider Mondays especially mid-day. Far fewer people working on Mondays.

Thanks, but I know the TTC routes and stations. I am asking about my initial drive by car into the city from the west. Where is the closest exit on the QEW before the lane closures and traffic backups usually start.? Would it be Hurontario north? And then west on Bloor? Or is there a better way in? I know my way around in general here after all these years of visits. I have GPS but not with traffic alerts. It is likely some people here know better alternate routes into the northern part of downtown than I do. I will look into the Waze suggestion from Shack. There will be more people than just me dealing with this issue.

I arrived very late on a Sunday night the last trip but I could see that going all the way to the QEW Yonge St exit and then driving north on Yonge will not be viable this summer during normal hours.

Even if I'm going to a location that I've been to 1,000 times, I still use it. Shit happens on the road that we're not aware of and it will give me alternate routes. A couple of times I didn't pay attention and it had told me not to go on the 401 and take city streets for a bit. Then I sit in traffic and I curse myself for not paying closer attention.

It's not exactly in real time, but it's the closest. Other Wazers give feedback on what they see is happening and then the app may modify your route.

Tranquility Base, La Luna
Eastbound QEW coming into GTA has several choke points.
The worst is at the Mississauga Rd. construction. There's no reason for it other than drivers panicking due to a doglegging road.
The Gardiner backup doesn't start until after High Park and is tolerable, I always get off at Jameson.
I'm during non-prime hours tho.

Why would you travel all the way to Yorkville and have a Etobicoke based escort come see you? That's a logistical nightmare.

You have many options that are far less aggravating and save you time and money:

1. See an escort in the West end: Sauga, Etobicoke, Oakville, etc at their incall. There are many agencies that operate in the West end. SFTO comes to mind. Then, you don't have to deal with traffic on the Gardiner at all.
2. Take the GO train if you must be downtown. Parking is free at all GO stations and many lots are more than half empty these days because people are working hybrid / remote. Since you're driving along the QEW, you can take the Lakeshore West line that has stops in Port Credit, Oakville, Burlington, etc. No traffic to worry about and you can text the SP if there are any delays.

Yes. This may become a logistical nightmare. But this is aboutToronto friendships built over time. And safe guarded parking for my car and a condo that has become like home.
1. I like the Yonge - Bloor - Yorkville area and a particular condo. I can do outcalls to there and walk around and visit favorite places easily. I can work remotely and have my own food, wines, and gummy bears. Escorts really like the place.
2. I have 2 favorite escort business friends. One lives downtown - no problem - but the other one mostly works out of Etobicoke and now only sometimes works downtown now. I think she commutes from a far northwest suburb to mostly Etobicoke so she has worked things out well for herself. She has made special efforts to see me when I am in town no matter where she is but traffic will worsen. I would not expect her to travel in if she is sometimes as far out as the airport on a given day. It is not all about me.
3. For Asians for variety the Yorkville location is still an easy ride to North York and not too bad a trip to Markham. Gone are the days when the infamous Steve could deliver a high end Asian outcall to downtown.

You can stay in Markham and you are in Asian escort Disneyland and not too far from North York Asians. Some Markham hotels are far better than North York hotels. I know Toronto Girlfriends for all purpose adventures is out there too. But this is not like staying right in the city. You are really out there with the crickets and if you are traveling back to the US during business hours it can add on 90 minutes to your return trip.

We seem to going into a "You can't get there from here situation with escorts." My lifetime love affair with Toronto is undiminished. But all of this is still cheaper than alimony and child support. Make an overall plan with QEW gridlock in mind.

The QEW repairs and other infrastructure repairs are facts of life. The work needs to be done. I am doing some venting here. And maybe encouraging some guidance for some of the more recent members in terms of what is actually possible here.

Yeah. Stay out of downtown.
Even if you take what you think are shortcuts and side streets etc. the time you spend re-routing, you may as well stayed on the main route.
Add construction to the equation.
Why is it whenever there are road workers or construction workers, mostly road workers
is there usually one maybe two guys working and the rest of the bunch sitting around laughing, smoking, talking, drinking coffee?!?
If those are city contracts, our tax dollars at work. Replace them with replicants lol

They're piling in huge numbers of immigrants so expect the nightmare to get a lot worse ...
Because immigrants land and then immediately buy a car and start driving? I feel like there are so many things to blame before you end up blaming immigrants.

Saw a news article on TV the other day that stated Toronto was the 3rd most congested city on the planet today behind London England, which I agree and second was Dublin, which I am not sure. In the 1960s to the mid 80s, I owned a local courier company and after selling I drove for a courier co. for 20 years with very few traffic issues. Today the traffic in the GTA is pathetic wherever you go and it is not going to get any better. One reason, many main streets such as Danforth avenue are now single lane roads to allow parking and bicycle lanes. Also ,any main roads such as Kingston Rd. and Midland avenue have the curb lanes painted red for buses only and vehicles must exit the first street they approach. Can someone name a major road or hwy that has been built in this city aside from the 407? Bottom line is there are way too many people living and driving in the gta.

So if you get a car in 5 years it doesn't cause a problem? Only a problem if you get it right away?

Right. There are other things to blame but much like housing and the medical situation, it doesn't help the situation if you are not taking care of those other things.
Sure they could, and they should, and it would be nice if I could go back 25 years and have coitus with Alyson Hannigan, but shit ain't like that.

Toronto is trying to force people to use their shitty transit system.
TTC can shut down lines anytime they like and nothing is going to get better. They should have fought harder against the activists that wanted to keep the “charming” streetcars in the 80’s and replaced them with buses.

Don’t even get me started on Metrolinx, there is no plan to have the Ontario line finished in the next 30 yrs. It’s taken 14 yrs for the Ellington line that still isn’t finished, anyone think the Ontario line will be completed in their lifetime is sadly mistaken.

Toronto should have put tolls on the gardiner when they had the chance and made the commuters pay for the infrastructure needed to keep it maintained. Kathleen Wynn was weak.

So you agree with my point then? Immigration isn't causing the problems. It's just exacerbating things that were already broken. But it's madness to say stop immigration and everything will magically be ok.
