Oh, so never again only applies to Jews. I get it now...
Who are you kidding? You'd never condone those uppity Jews if they spoke on some other ethnicity's behalf. The Jews speak for themselves just as they are now defending for themselves.

so they can continue this genocide with a clear conscience because the victims are not Jews.... just Muslim filth who killed 1200 Jews after being occupied and confined to a prison camp for years, so the deadly response being 30 times greater than the Oct 7 damage is totally justified . Thanks for clearing that up.
You are the one justifying the murder and terrorism of Oct.7. Clearly the Jews were the victims. They can have a clear conscience because they have not committed genocide as far as the UN is concerned.

Tell us which wars yield a 1:1 proportional rate of casualties. It is always disproportionate and it is almost always the losing side that has more casualties. Tell us, if there is an accepted rate of disproportionality. What is that rate or must it be 1:1

That Israel would respond so vigorously was the expected result when Hamas poked the bear. As such it was a stupid ploy from the get-go and therefore Hamas and their supporters have no right to whine about what they knew would happen when Hamas attacked, even if the casualties were 100X.

Why are you calling Muslims filth?

The UN has passed no resolutions condemning Israel of committing genocide. Geno has tried to find even 1 but he has failed epically. Maybe you can find a UN resolution to support your claim of genocide. Good luck. Until that time, you are lying in your attempt to foment hate against Israel. There is a term for that, but I'm sure you already know what that term is. You should be ashamed of yourself for using that kind of language.

Students globally are protesting to implement BDS.
They are succeeding.
They are succeeding in accomplishing nothing other than to turn people against the cause they are trying to promote. People minding their own business resent having their regular day to day existence being disrupted by uninformed spoiled rich kids AKA brats.

Kidnapped hostages have human rights. (assuming they are still alive)

Clearly you don't think so.

Israeli citizens have rights not to have rockets fired at them for 23 years by Hamas.
no nation in the world would put up that shit

The people of Gaza voted Hamas into power in 2006 and they have paid a dreadful price for that folly.

confined to a prison camp for years
Egypt wont admit pal refugees - where is the outrage at Egypt ?
Jordon wont accept them either
Both countries know Hamas is trouble they do not want

until the hostages are freed and Hamas lays down their weapons , there wont be any peace

You should walk outside with an Israeli flag and see how popular that would be now.

spokesperson ? do you mean the one handing out $100 bills for a couple of hours of shouting slogans
And I suppose you have evidence of this, that it isn't part of some right-wing conspiracy narrative....

it looked more like a futile effort to actually find someone to intelligently communicate the cause
he asked a lot of people,
Really. And I suppose you'd argue that when they do this at a MAGA rally and show the stupidity of those folks, you'd say that they don't represent the cult, er...movement...Let me put it this way, you ask enough people in a crowd about anything and you might get a nuanced, well thought out response, but more likely you'd get folks who say really stupid things, like saying Obama dropped the ball in his handling of 9/11....

that is 100% pure speculation on your part
So, stop pretending that there is not something very strange about these protests
Yes, it is speculation. I'm glad you recognize it. I didn't think it was subtle, but with the righties on here, you never know. I'm sure you're trying to say that these protests are astroturfed. Maybe they are. Maybe people are attending them for multiple reasons. Some might hate Hamas, but feel for the Palestinian people. Others might just hate Israel. But, if some random dude who wasn't press started asking me questions....I might not want to answer. I'd call it the James O'Keefe response. They've probably seen clips that were used bad faith edits to makes soundbites that lack nuance, or are taken out of context to disparage the protests. I'm not saying main stream media doesn't do this, but there is significantly less chance that NBC would do that compared to some unknown dude with a YouTube channel.

That is a possibility, sure. Another and the most likely possibility is that a person may appear not very bright, when the people calling them not bright, are not very bright in the first place.
Listen to them speak and their demands. Not very bright at all.

Their demands are perfectly legitimate.
''Columbia Law students want their final exams called off … in the name of Palestine.

In a recent letter, the student editors of the Columbia Law Review made a public call for the school to cancel the semester’s remaining exams and “give all students passing grades for their work throughout the semester.”

Yeah seems pretty legitimate to me, lol.....

Firstly, that has nothing to do with the demands made by the protestors regarding divestment, transparency etc.,

Secondly, the ask is fair, in my opinion. You have total chaos on campus, people being arrested, beaten by police, racist hate groups from both sides attacking each other etc., It would be difficult for students to sit for tests at this time. Is cancelling exams the right course of action? I dont know. But the ask is fair enough. They are not asking for just the protestors, or just the pro-Palestinian supporters. They are asking for everyone in the university whether or not they are a protestor, due to the extraneous circumstances. Fair enough. Grades dont mean anything any way. 🤷‍♂️
If you don't like what the school is doing...Don't go there!

learning the curriculum and passing the exams is kind of what the idea is. There's no free ride in life. Time they learned that.

No, they can go there and demand the school change its policies. That is like saying the status quo should never be challenged. And in this case this letter was to not cancel all exams for eternity, but for this semester due to the chaos. Fair enough to ask. Especially when the days where grades actually mattered are long gone.
No no just leave...There will be more than enough students that will want to attend in their place.
