I think you forgot history . It was Persian king . Cyrus the great who freed the jews from slavery Babylon and returned them to Jerusalem. Cyrus the great is mentioned in Bible as Messiah .

I doubt Israel or anyone else could end the theocratic regime in Iran.

Israel just wants to kill and hamper Iranian operatives and officials involved with Hamas and Hezbollah. I don't think Israel wants a full head-on with Iran.
