It makes you wonder what would have happened if Clinton won the electoral college vote. I wonder how her response to COVID would have been. There would've been no Biden presidency, Trump would have avoided all the criminal charges and some of the damage to his reputation, and he probably would've happily played golf every day...
She would have had a good COVID response, I think, but it still would have been devastating given the global nature of the thing.
She could well have lost her re-election bid based on that response though.
No matter what, the GOP would have branded her a failure for it, I expect.

You missed the point, which is from 13-25 seconds in that video.
Which is why you went back to lecturing.

No.
I didn't miss any point.
He's very clear that he wants to punish Biden for supporting Israel and is upset that people don't agree with him and is mad for them trying to make him feel bad about what those other people think is a bad decision.

Of course, it is also kind of a lie.
He is Australian and can't vote anyway.
He's just trying to convince other people that "punishing Biden/the Democrats" is the right thing to do.

Didn't you predict that for Biden as well? 😆
I don't believe so , no. I didn't see anyone starting a war in a pandemic even Putin waited.

Of course somehow two regional wars started on his watch. Which the arms manufacturers are making a hansome profit on.

Only a Democrat who wants to convince people to vote in a Republican
to become the next POTUS would better be ignored.
Would better be ignored?? Stick to the cut and paste you know

Because calling people deplorable worked last time so hey, lets go with it again.
:oops:Have to stick to the facts, and the fact is they are even more deplorable now than they were in 2016

This time is was "get over yourself", deleted from the Author's article. She really doesn't get just how despised she is.
How despised is she, not counting sneering Trump stooges like Carlson and Levin? Time to look at her e-mails again:sleep:?

Considering any distancing regulations were at the state level, and Trump did immediately authorize funding for vaccine research and distribution, I think it would have been a negligible difference.

All those stupid, stubborn folks would still have been that way.
It's hard to see how brainwashing only could support such a view. More convinced than ever that someone's paying you ...

Dude. Americans spend more time worrying about anyone in the govt telling them what to do then anyone on the planet. And will happily die, even stupidly of covid to make the point.

He's saying that older white profs lecturing youths and minorities on why they need to suck it up and vote for Genocide Joe is a bigger sign that the system itself has failed and shouldn't be supported.

Its not anymore of a lie than it is for me to post here about the US election, its an opinion that you are trying very hard to dismiss even while 57% of those who voted for Biden last time say he is backing genocide right now.

I don't know why you are fixated on saying this is about 'punishing' Biden when its more about having moral limits you cannot cross. You'd think that genocide should be a given in the list of things you won't defend, instead of arguing that its 'pragmatic'. Shouldn't your response be to work towards changing the dems so they don't lose to rump over such a stupid stance instead of 'rewarding' Biden for his genocide?

Not a confident for sure prediction (turns out that was Jerimander) - you just considered it likely and told us what to expect from Biden.

Large Military spending
Wall St bailouts

And quite possibly a war in Syria and Iran, once Saudi Arabia signs an Israeli peace accord.

Whether he can actually get the cuts to Social Security and Medicare he has been trying for for decades is another matter.
You did put that caveat that Saudi Arabia needed to sign an Israeli peace accord in that post, though.
Huh. I guess you have Hamas to thank for stopping that?

Although you didn't caveat it elsewhere.

But with Biden I see a war in Syria. Maybe Venezuela, Maybe back to Libya.
Wow, I forgot how much you were convinced Biden has longed to cut social security and medicare forever and was totally going to go for it.

And I'm about 80% convinced he will go for his grand bargain deficit reduction and cut Social Security
Hilarious.

I didn't see anyone starting a war in a pandemic even Putin waited.
You confidently predicted multiple wars, since Biden was a wild-eyed war monger.

Of course somehow two regional wars started on his watch. Which the arms manufacturers are making a hansome profit on.
Biden (and Dems in general) not being a dictator for the planet has been something that bothers you for a long time, if I recall.

To be fair, there are lots of people who feel she should have said something more along the lines of acknowledging the racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic parts of the Trump movement (she was at an LGBTQ+ event after all and pretending those people weren't part of his movement would be ridiculous) but then try to convince her audience that everyone supporting Trump wasn't like that and were worth reaching out to. Tell her audience that these were people who feel that government has let them down, nobody cares about them, nobody worries about what happens to their lives and their futures, and they are just desperate for change. People who feel they are trapped in a dead-end place and they just need things to be different. That the Dems need to empathize and understand those people.

I keep hearing people say this but, frankly, the people you are describing are the very people who aggressively oppose any social programs or tax breaks that would actually help them. Moreover, they get really annoyed when it is pointed out to them that they are voting against their own self-interest.

Given a choice between racism vs their economic well-being they choose racism every single time. Trump knows this and brazenly exploits it…and it works.

No.
He said being forced to choose between Biden and Trump means the system has failed and should be overthrown.
Which is big talk from a comedian who is an Australian and doesn't have to deal with any of it.

Its not anymore of a lie than it is for me to post here about the US election, its an opinion that you are trying very hard to dismiss even while 57% of those who voted for Biden last time say he is backing genocide right now.
"The US System should be overthrown" said by someone in another country with no stake in it and no intent to do anything about it is pretty easy to dismiss, actually.
The only people currently in a position to do it is Trump, and anyone who thinks overthrowing the US just to get to get Trump isn't someone who was ever on my side, no were they?

I don't know why you are fixated on saying this is about 'punishing' Biden when its more about having moral limits you cannot cross.
Because he is quite clear that it is about exactly that.
Biden did something he doesn't like - Biden needs to be punished.

People who point out that doing this isn't going to get him anything else good he says he cares about are "shaming" him and make him VERY MAD and he feels they can't tell him how to respond.

And he is right.
If Punishing Biden is more important to you, you are allowed to believe that. (I mean, it doesn't matter for you or him, neither of you are Americans.)
But getting mad at people pointing out that it isn't really a helpful response if you care about Palestinians (or really anything else) is just too bad.
You aren't allowed to pretend you can't be criticized.

You'd think that genocide should be a given in the list of things you won't defend, instead of arguing that its 'pragmatic'.
But I'm not trying to defend genocide and you aren't trying to stop it. (Neither is this guy.)

Shouldn't your response be to work towards changing the dems so they don't lose to rump over such a stupid stance instead of 'rewarding' Biden for his genocide?
Of course.
But that's not what is being proposed here.
Making sure Biden loses and is "punished" for what he did is the point.
If that accomplishes nothing to actually help Palestine, that's fine.
At least it hurt Biden and that is emotionally satisfying to you. (And this guy.)

That I want more than a cathartic "fuck you Biden!" when I vote has to do with the simple fact that I don't view voting as an emotional outlet.

The argument has always been that there are the people voting explicitly for the racism (the deplorables), and then the people voting for something else but are reachable.
As you say, many of those still choose the racism, but not all do.

What people claim to be mad about in the "basket of deplorables" speech is that Clinton just said all Trump supporters were deplorables and there were no people supporting him who should be reached out to.

This is, of course, not what she actually said, but that's what they mean when they sneer at how she called people "deplorable".
They claim they wanted her to say something more like what I wrote.
