Israel is a pariah state that won't honour UN resolutions or international law.
They are an apartheid state committing genocide.

Its time to kick them out of the UN and implement full sanctions.

Yeah, no shit sherlock. Although 139 countries recognize Palestine as a state, sovereignty has not yet been accomplished. That is why they are an observer state in the UN.
So we agree that that there is no such country as Palestine. That's the point I was making.

And that is what the entire 75 year old conflict is about. Thank you for admitting Israel is an occupying, colonial endeavour, who have robbed Palestine of their sovereignty.
There never was any sovereignty. "You can't lose what you ain't never had."

Shot yourself in the dick again. What were you saying about "logic" by the way? Am sure you fudged your transcripts. That has got to be illegal.
I flicked away your previous attempt at pretending that you know anything about logic. You know that you are in over your head so all you can do is claim I am lying even though you know absolutely nothing about me, my background and my credentials. Obviously, I was correct before when I said that you are jealous. It makes me believe that you never got past high school.

You are flailing and continue to embarrass yourself. Logic would dictate that you stop attempting to talk about logic to try to save any face you think that you may have left.

You've accused me multiple times and every time I challenge you to prove it you run away and scream 'antisemite' or something.
You have been exposed over and over and over again as a serial liar. You just can't deal with the reality of your lying nature that the rest of TERB considers a given.

Have you ever lied here in the Politics Forum?
Chicken little.
You're just chicken, period.

What percent of Jews in Israel are Zionists?
With all the deaths, violence and suffering of Gazans that spiked exponentially immediately after Oct.7, do you think that attack was a smart move?
How many Gazan Palis have died since Jan.1 that would not have occurred if Hamas had surrendered while you keep calling for a ceasefire?

Chicken.

Kauty, how is this going to work?... In a few weeks when Israel kills Yahya and directly runs Gaza as part of Israel, is "Palestine" still going to be considered a "country"?

Isn't this kinda like considering that the Holy Roman Empire is still a "country" when it no longer exists??

Only apartheid Israel where the fight becomes over equal rights, including the vote and citizenship, for all Palestinians living under Israeli rule.
Congrats.

There never was any sovereignty. "You can't lose what you ain't never had."
Tell that to the ICJ.

You've been saying that Israel is one week away from destroying Hamas for 4 months.
All you've got is genocide and a world that wants zionism to enter the dustbin of history with the nazis.

I don't know how it is going to work, and yes, Israel will occupy Gaza. But that is the 75 year conflict. The longer Israel occupies Gaza and the other Palestinian territories, there will be more terrorism and more oppression.
Israel doesn't occupy Gaza....they were forced to build a wall to protect themselves from the aggression / terrorism that was already happening....if you run it back to 1929 (fuck your 1947, that's just a sequel, then 1967, then Oct 7) take your pick which date, Arabs has always been the instigators in this conflict...Is Egypt also occupying Gaza since they also built a wall? Let's make this quick, release the hostages, Hamas should surrender and let's have Israel chip in to rebuild Gaza...

No, rich.
Gaza is occupied. Gaza is not a country, there is not physical country of Palestine, just the Occupied Territories of Palestine as the UN calls it.

Its idiotic that you would make such incredibly ignorant statements while the ICJ is hearing from 52 countries who are against Israel's occupation of Palestine.

France calls for restitution or compensation for Palestinians

In his final remarks, Colas said France believes the court’s advisory opinion must demand the following:
  • All damage caused to the Palestinian population as a result of policies and practices illegal under international law must be the object of restitution and, failing that, compensation.
  • Israel must be required to prosecute people responsible for human rights violations.
  • Other states have an obligation not to recognise any form of illegal annexation of territories. France will never recognise the illegal annexation of territories in the West Bank.
  • From an economic standpoint, as requested by the UN all states must make a separation between the Israeli territories and the territories occupied since 1967 and distinguish products depending on that origin.
Russia calls for establishment of Palestinian state

Tarabrin ends his speech, saying:
  • A negotiated two-state solution with an independent and viable Palestinian state peacefully coexisting with Israel will be the best recipe for bringing an end to Israel’s violations, creating guarantees of their non-repetition and redressing the damage.
  • The Russian Federation invites the Court to be guided by the need to contribute to creating conditions for successful final status negotiations. The best contribution would be confirmation by the court that Israel and Palestine are under an obligation to resume such negotiations while all states and organisations shall cooperate in order to make that possible.
  • The continued Israeli occupation of Palestine impedes the realisation of the Palestinian people of its right to self-determination. Israeli settlements are contrary to the principle of the inadmissibility of acquisition of territory by force.
Palestine subjected to ‘longest protracted occupation in modern history’

Egypt’s Jasmine Moussa says the Middle East “yearns for peace and stability” and a “comprehensive and lasting resolution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict”.
Cairo wants the “establishment of a viable Palestinian state on the pre-1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital”, she said.
Moussa highlighted the “ongoing violation by Israel of the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination from its prolonged occupation, settlement and annexation of the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967”.

ICJ shouldn’t wait for ‘complete extermination’ to rule: Cuba

Israel, as the occupying power and its allies, must take responsibility for the “legal implications resulting from the sustained non-compliance” with international law, Rodriguez Camejo says.
“The situation that is taking place in the eyes of all confirms the ongoing genocide. Innocent victims – girls, boys, women – number in the thousands.
“Those for years who have supported each and every one of the policies and practices of Israel, which denied the existence of the Palestinian people and their rights, this agenda has advanced over the course of time.
“We are convinced this court should not wait for the complete extermination of an entire nation before ruling on the matter.”

No. Israel needs to either work on a 1 state or a 2 state solution, and ensure Palestinian sovereignty, for this conflict to end. We are also not talking about Gaza alone. We are talking about all of the Palestinian territories. Which is Gaza and West Bank included. Israel needs to give back land to the Palestinians, go back to 1967 borders to form a 2 state solution - at the very least.

Yes conflicts have happened between Arabs and settler Jews for the last 100 years. But this is ancient history. People are asking them to go back to the 67 borders. Who instigated the war in 1967? Israel did. They instigated war and invaded. The Arabs DID NOT attack first, in 1967. Israel did.
Yeah no....nice try though....you're nit picking your argument again....Egypt close the Straight of Tiran and mobilized their armed forces....that is an act of aggression...given their history...

Nit picking?

You're backing a 75 year occupation, apartheid rule and genocide and trying to claim that Israel are the victims.

Prove it.
Prove I've lied even once or admit that you are the liar yourself.
Easy challenge. I've asked you dozens of times if you've ever lied here. You have refused to answer every single time. If you've never lied, why in the world would you not answer and just say "no, I have not". Instead, you hide under the covers, too afraid to answer because you know you'd be called out.

What do you think the results of a poll would be if people think whether you have lied? If you are so confident of your integrity, go ahead and ask the question: "Do you think that I have ever lied on TERB?" That sounds like fair wording. You'd never do it because you know that you'd get hammered.

Go ahead and ask the rest of the TERBites. If you don't do the poll, that would be further proof.

No, I did not say that. I said, the State of Palestine does not have sovereignty.
We keep saying the same thing. Palestine is not a sovereign state. Are there any full members of the UN that are not sovereign states?

You're backing a 75 year occupation, apartheid rule and genocide and trying to claim that Israel are the victims.
If they could speak, there would be 1,200 civilians telling you that they were victims on Oct.7.

If they weren't intimidated by Hamas to speak, there's probably over 1,000,000 Gazan citizens who would tell you that they are the victims of Hamas perfidy for almost 20 years. Even still, many of them still speak out.

The Straits of Tiran is Egyptian territory. The Straits of Trian crisis, was in 1956, not in 1967. Israel never used the Straits of Tiran, since 1948, so this being a "sudden and unforeseen" situation, is basically an Israeli lie and narrative, that was used to steal land. So yes, Israel was the aggressor.
Wrong again. The building tension was already happening prior to 1967.
Egypt already considered at war with Israel before 1967...reason why they closed the Strait...they were at war...
The United Arab Republic, however, advanced a further argument in support of its right to close the Strait of Tiran to Israeli shipping. It asserted that it was in a state of war with Israel and that innocent passage through the Strait legitimately could be suspended by a belligerent in time of war.
