I'm excited to come back to this thread post ETF approval in Jan-March as well as post halvening 😁.

It's been fun thus far.

Please stop using technical analysis in a year like this. Just buy and hold and you'll preferably want to do that before April.

Institutions right now are accumulating/buying 9000 BTC daily with only 900 new BTC issued daily. The pressure is huge and with new issuance being cut to 450 in Apr, this thing is about to take off boys.

This is what we've all been waiting for these past few years. I'm very excited 😊.

this is just the start, the halving hasn’t even happened yet, after that Bitcoin has historically exploded. It’s going to be insane

I know all of those YouTube bloggers and so called Bitcoin experts are just selling clicks on YouTube, but I get a laugh at hearing all those crazy post halving BTC prices , from : $ 50k to $ 1,000,000. . . I know they are just selling clicks and it's just entertainment. I'll play : $ 150k at the max point in 2025 ! :p

this 2 hrs video explains a lot of concepts about Bitcoin and where it's possibly heading

skip the last 30 minutes because that's where he is selling his program :)

don't be concerned about the fundamentals.

ignore the price predictions... follow the previous cycles in terms of timing but don't try to get out at the perfect time as you won't

expect the end of the cycle at the end 3rd or early 4th quarter of next yr

The consensus is that Bitcoin will follow its historical pattern, and you should sell before the crash. Too many people get the timing wrong because they get greedy and end up losing a lot of their investment.

Best time to sell is sometime in late 2025. Probably best to sell off staggered rather than all at once.

This is basically all you need to know.

95% of us crypto followers are medium to long term investors but we all want to be in that 5% bracket of day traders. I have to admit that I check the BTC quotes 100 times per day , I scan the 1 mins/5 mins charts but I should be looking at the daily or monthly charts and zoom out. You can judge the overall market direction better, always zooming out . The so called YouTube crypto experts make videos sometimes twice a day and their content is geared for day traders advising what we should do every 5 minutes. WTF , they are selling clicks and crypto exchange new customers, none of the viewers are minute by minute day traders.

Just for fun I'm watching Bitcoin trade on ByBit exchange and BTC and ETH peak at about 8:55 to 9:00 am ( at $ 53,100/$ 3,000 resp) and then all these massive sell orders come in on the 50 biggest coins. Day traders trying to start an avalanche to buy some cheap crypto. You don't notice it watching any regular chart, but change the time frames to 1 mins to 5 mins screens and you can see the action clearer. I know, zoom out and all this noise trading doesn't make one difference in the long run. Day traders don't like sideways markets, they need vols since most of them are trading with expensive borrowing margin rates.

I just got back in, bought $50,000 of BTCC, the etf. Will hold until end of 2025, no matter what dips there are. I just hope I get out in time next year. Maybe I will pull out slightly before the expected peak, as long as I am up significantly.

Even though I missed this recent run by selling early, what's really killing me is that I was on the verge of buying a few thousands dollars of Bitcoin, way back when it was under a hundred dollars. I had read a Newseek article on it, and googled how to buy it, but back then it wasn't easy to do, and I remember not pursuing it after finding out it wasn't so straightforward. However, I'm pretty sure that even had I bought, I never would have held until now. I definitely would have sold almost all when Bitcoin spiked to $8,000. Same thing happned with Nvidia, I sold that way too early. Had I held, I would be up $50,000 more on it. Everything is so easy looking back.

If I had bought 20 Bitcoin back then, it would have been $1M today. :(

I just happened to up early this morning and i was on the ByBit exchange and the 30 top cryptos I watched at 4:00am EST , give or take a minute or two, all got whacked at the same time and at 3:00pm the same thing happened. All major coins at the same time ! So called YouTube experts call it retail taking some profits. Ptooey, retail hasn't even come back to the Bitcoin space yet, it was timed system ALGO GTC trades, it's happened like 5 times in the past 2 days, just look at the charts and mark off the flex point where BTC or ETH maxed out . . . .

Bitcoin needs to blast by 53,500 and ETH about 3k and close a few days there before resuming the rally or else day traders will just rinse/repeat . They need to constantly make gains, since they are on high margin capital costs per hour. You'll notice if BTC and ETH drop 1% or so, the small alt coins will drop 5 to 10% since day traders play those coins with super high leverage, they get liquidated fast ! In the last few days Bitcoin has been whacked back about 20 times. Bear traders and put option traders need a Bitcoin close under the $ 50k mark or else they lose mega millions. Many times sell orders come in when the market has little liquidity , like weekends or early in the EST times. There were 3 weeks in a row , institutions like BlackRock had control of the market, last few days the day traders took back the com, just my 2 cents. . .
