The Middle East or West Asia has changed a lot in the last two decades. Iran, Hezbollah, Houties have acquired medium range missiles and drones that naturalizes western naval power.

Notice that the aircraft carriers stay 400 km away from Yemen and Lebanon.

Bombing Yemen may turn out to not have been the best option. Closing the Red Sea to all traffic has severe consequences.
