Neither game was terribly compelling yesterday as both of them were basically over in the 3rd quarter.

I was very disappointed in my Brownies. The defense gave up way too many big plays which took away any momentum the offense had given them with those early TDs. Flacco looked his age and threw a couple of absolutely atrocious INTs which were both returned.

I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but I think the difference in punting was a significant factor. The Cleveland punter hit a couple of semi-shanks and was mediocre the whole game. He had them at a disadvantage constantly. A lot of punts were around 40 yards. It seemed that Houston was getting the ball at no worse than their own 40. They even started from the Browns 45 on one series. Cleveland meanwhile was scrimmaging from around the 15 yard line on each possession. Oh, well. They had a more than respectable year.

The other game was a matter of who dealt with the conditions better. KC was clearly the better team and Mahomes was far superior to Tua. I don't think he was ever able to grip the ball properly judging by how far he was off on a lot of his passes.

Gonna go with Detroit today. Home teams tend to do much better in the playoffs that during the regular season. But now way an I betting on Dallas, just on principle. LOL.

I hit on Chiefs -6.5 and the Leafs/Avs over but the damn Browns screwed my parlay. I'm shocked at how poor their vaunted defense played. But this Stroud guy looks to be a future MVP candidate. He's a rookie playing like a seasoned veteran out there. Damn impressive.

Today I like the Lions at home. Rams come in hot but I think a bit banged up. I see the Lions having some success moving the ball on the ground. The key for them will be the defense needs to play reasonably well.
Packers/Cowboys I think I would lean to the home team minus 6.5 but not sure I can bet it. Boys always seem to choke come playoff time. And Jordan Love has been very good the past few weeks. But the Packers have several injuries CB Jaire Alexander and WR Christian Watson are questionable. AJ Dillon is likely out. And they had a bunch of key players limited in practice this week. I might just bet Cowboys on the money line

Just finished half watching the GB/Dallas game and so far the best game this weekend has been the postponed Buffalo/Pitts game.

So far the games have been boring, at least in the second half. Even if a team dominates, the other usually changes their game plan and turns things around in the second half...Not this weekend (at least so far as the Det/Rams game is still to be played).

Most of these wins are really a credit to the coaching staff. Big wins are usually because one staff prepared a better game plan than the other. Next week will not be as easy because chances are you will will not win both halfs of the coaching battle.

Is there a tougher QB than Matt Stafford? The Lions had the more aggressive defense, Stafford was hit repeatedly yet he always got back up to attempt another play. Would Patrick Mahomes be able to take such punishment.

When will Jerry Jones get it through his granite skull that he's not a GM. I asked my buddy Prem if he had any words of comfort for Jerry Jones.

Eeeeeyyyy Fangula.

The Bills/ Steelers game, and Philadelphia - Tampa Bay, were scheduled for Monday because it's a legal holiday in the USA, (Martin Luther King Day).

It has gotten to be a thing, anniversary of the coldest game ever played in Orchard Park and tonight could break the record. Die hard Bills and Steelers fans are already tailgating.May not be quite as cold as the Chiefs game was, but brrrrr🥶...

Jordan Love may be the best Packers QB, better than his predecessors. His gift, he has almost Joe Montana mental acuity.
He is in the infancy of his career.

Off the top of my head, Brett Favre was the toughest QB I can recall.
That's a laugh!

Toughest QB to sweep/boot/catapult out from consuming space and time ad nauseum in the NFL, the media and inter galactic space. Pest and nuisance.

Aaron "welcome to my misplaced ego and delusions of grandeur, mind numbing neighborhood " Rodgers is another who no one really gives a fuck about.

Jordan Love kinda showed why Aaron was the impediment to Green Bay success.
