you can start by stop trying to intentionally mislead other people
what I find truly amazing is you do not have a clue what you have done to your credibility
every time I see you have posted, i chuckle and say "OK lets see what he is lying about here"
you are just plain untrustworthy

you complain about whining, yet you are one who is wetting his pants about 100 parts per million of a colorless , odorless inert gas
you ask for solutions to the question "what can mankind do to control our ever changing, dynamic and chaotic climate system "

which is a hubris and ridiculous question

just like we can not control the rise and fall of tides, we cannot control our climate.
so stop the bed wetting and most defiantly stop intentionally misleading others

try arguing with facts and truth instead, or you are afraid of being labelled as a "denier" ?
trying learning some science while you are at it
I have never said anything about being alarmed at global warming. In fact i was quite clear there are two opinions. I said REGARDLESS of what you believe about it Canada has no choice. The G7 believes in it, we are part of the G7. What do you think would happen if we send good ol PEPE to the G7 and he says you guys are all morons, we don't believe in Global warming so Canada will be ripping up the Paris accords and you morons can do what you want. 🤣 YOu are just not bright enough to see that Trudeau is doing the untimate 2 face with the G7, saying all the right things and doing the bare min he can get away with. After all, under trudeau oil production is up 25% and theTMX is being finished and the first Canadian LNG terminal is nearing completion. 🤣 not to mention Bay Du nord, white rose expansion etc etc etc

The clueless grade schoolers that have memories of sieves, for example utterly forget or simply don’t know major historical facts like manufacturing losses, caused in part by Hydro rates and ( not unlike Carbon taxes today) brain dead Ontario Liberal policies….. and supported by blind, don’t give a shit about people Liberal voters..

And or various impacts from 2008…And who think they grasp economics but don’t grasp certain facts or historical facts for example Ontarios impacts on Canadas GDP. Think they are smart (despite the obvious) and keep coming back.

The same dolts also keep thinking comparisons to other G7 countries are all that. As if that’s the be all and end all. In fact said brain dead people can’t grasp that during and after 2008. Canada compared extremely well. Nor does he know why, but more importantly did that stop losses in Ontario Einstein?

Regardless the hard fact is we live in Canada, we vote in Canada, and those who matter. Ratings agencies, businesses, institutional investors, etc don’t give a shit…how clueless do one need to be……well so clueless said dolt can’t even grasp what Capital Bleed( though I’m sure he whined loudly about brain drain back in the day) is and the fact it’s very bad…Nor much more obvious examples of it like manufacturing losses..Hello McFly?

Those same clueless dolts A) swallow bs and spins from Left wing media and politicians no differently than right wing media and politicians and B) think only “right wingers” are dumb, when they can’t even grasp facts and history..nor how to read budgets, nor grasp basic financial terminology or grade school economics.

Not so young is so economically astute is he doesn’t even know what lukewarm jobs growth means, what causes inflation, nor how/why the BoC would raise rates….or what a disaster is. Nor can he grasp that no matter what he tries to spin. He still can’t come to terms with the facts Debt/GDP today is much higher than when Harper left and Trudeau came in. He is so clueless and lost he can’t grasp that if Harper left as disaster…..once again, poor Beaver has no clue what he is saying or believes.

And unless he wants more inflation, and higher rates, a hot economy is a bad thing. He doesn’t know a thing about economics or business cycles either.

Nor can he grasp the peons are hurting, and the vast majority of Canadians are sick of both his Liberals and him. None more so, than Liberals in the GTA who only think of themselves..while compared to everyone else, do have it extremely good…..He doesn’t like facts. He thinks he is smarter than CEOs, economists, and the majority of Canadians.

Maybe that’s why he failed economics and finance.
Not getting younger is growing older and older by the minute. Maybe he keeps pulling his hair out further and further throughout his head by his flawed explanation, when he hates the real facts!!

At no time during the Harper regime did the economies of all The Province have to shut down off and on for close to two years. This is especially so when the previous Harper Government was gifted a surplus by The Paul Martin Government and turned it into Deficits from 2008 right up to the time he was voted out of office. The unemployment rate was high, and Canada was still in a recession. Obviously, the right wingers hate to compare our performance under Trudeau Government and then to compare apples with apples meaning the G7 Nations!!

What not so young cannot grasp is the fact that even our neighbours down South were in a far worse position than Canada after the Iraq War. While Canada had a surplus and a booming economy under Martin the Bush Republicans screwed their economy by pushing them into a deep recession. Obama inherited a practically bust economy while Harper was gifted a surplus but when Obama handed the USA economy to Trump they were no longer in a recession, while on the other hand Canada's economy was still in a recession when Harper left the office. So nothing to boast about Harper's reign. Yet not so young has no answer as to how and why Japan has the highest Debt to GDP among the G7 nations and yet the lowest inflation? That is because the right wing media like The National Post and The Sun will feed him the alarmist misinformation. No wonder why Canadians are not realizing that fact in new polls that have come out:

Levels of concern about misinformation also differ by level of education and income. Canadians with higher levels of educational attainment were most concerned about online misinformation. Specifically, 66% of Canadians with a college diploma or higher expressed concern. This compares to 52% of Canadians with a trade certificate or diploma, high school diploma or education below high school.

Well even the Deputy Leader of the Conservatives Lantsman dodged questions from Vassy Kapelos about what she would axe besides the Carbon tax and ArriveCan. We all know that those two would cause a minimal dent in the inflation or deficits.

When the popular Dental and Childcare legislations enacted were also posed as being part of the cuts, she did what Pee Pee does and will not answer a yes or no!!

The Fakeness of Pee Pee and what the Conservatives stand for, will be revealed with time!!

a testament to our world class oil and gas sector who have achieved this production increase , in spite of the Federal liberals

news flash for you the federal government can not control production levels, although the lunatic Steven Guilbeault is going to try by capping emissions
The producing provinces will fight the lunatic tooth and nail ... until the next election, when the carbon tax and Guilbeault's restrictions are killed.

It is available everywhere. As long as you have land you can use this system. So what are you talking about? Its not reliant on hot springs or high temp geothermal. Just the heat from the earth below the frost line. So once again, you were not aware and just REFUSE TO LEARN lol. Willful ignoarance...heck DETERMINED ignorance. 🤣

First post way too long to respond to Beaver. Jesus H you do know very little economics or finance. The economy was not shut down. Just parts of it. Notably those you pay lip service to. Over and over and over again.

1) I’m 99% sure you’re older and less informed than me. And I know you don’t have years of practical working experience. Like Frank, you don’t even know basic terminology. Like net debt and gross debt. Also not unlike you not grasping Provincial economies until it was spelled out for you.

3) You still think you’re smarter than CEOs, Economists and institutional investors Einstein. To give you a wee dose of reality, to us 50-100 million is pocket change…Aren’t you a special breed of elitist.

4) Regarding 2008 and the worst global crises since 1929. When countries went bankrupt and much much more…, and further a little understood credit crunch. Something your level of understanding hasn’t mentioned, can’t begin to scratch…….you don’t even know what it is. Kinda like gross debt..

need I say more.

You’re a fool and idiot who thinks he knows better than CEOs, Economist and more. Despite all that’s right in front of you. You don’t even understand the FED or BoC roles in all this. Kinda like JT. You don’t even grasp rudimentary monetary policy.

Canada is sovereign nation and can choose its own policies.

If PEPE tries any of that shit we wil just get locked out of markets by tariffs.
that is just pure, ill informed , uneducated , agenda driven fear mongering

Is the U.S locked out of markets because they do not have a carbon tax ? No
Did the US get locked out of markets when they opted out of the foolish Paris Agreement ? No
Did China get locked out of markets when they opted not to sign the foolish Paris Agreement ? No
Did India get locked out of markets when they opted not to sign the foolish Paris Agreement ? No

you apparently do not understand supply and demand very well
Canadas primary exports are natural resources & the climate crisis scam will only increase demand for energy and minerals

End of story.
In your twisted dreams

Oh a world class oil sector nationalized and got the TMX completed?
yes world class energy sector, which has not been nationalized despite the efforts of the Trudeau family
world class energy sector, which has able to increase production despite the efforts of the liberal govt to shut the sector down

Do not blame the TMX fiasco on our energy sector, Trudeau created that mess . Every thing he touches turns to shit

hmmm. Did Canada stand in the way of Bay Du Nord? NOPE. All bullshit and nonsense.
yes it is bullshit when project approval/ policy is determined by the need for liberal party vote buying

wrong
what part of " The central area of the Canadian landmass, the shield, is too old and cool to yield useful heat.' are you incapable of comprehending ?

In Canada geothermal potential is found in the sedimentary rocks of the prairies and in a broad band bordering the oceans. The central area of the Canadian landmass, the shield, is too old and cool to yield useful heat.
how big is the Canadian Shield ?

So you are Absolutely 100% wrong
It is not available everywhere

there is scalable geothermal potential on the parries, but when drilling there, one usually strikes really valuable oil / natural gas first
& you can not transport heat a thousand miles via pipeline

So what are you talking about?
Facts
you should try using facts sometimes

Its not reliant on hot springs or high temp geothermal. Just the heat from the earth below the frost line.
you do not seem to understand there is a massive chunk of granite between the geothermal source and the surface
the shield, is too old and cool to yield useful heat.

Geothermal in the context of heat pumps which is what notti is arguing, the boiling point of the refrigerant used in heat pumps is about -20C, all that is needed is a source of heat that is warmer than -20C for heat pumps to work. If you use air as the source of heat it will not always be above -20C in Ontario/Canada so you dig about 6-8 ft into the ground and use the warmth of the earth to boil the refrigerant. It is not the classic case of using geothermal energy to boil water, it is a different use case.

Once again it was not the Federal Government that mandated the shut down of "Non-Essential" Services. Just the Provincial Governments....... maybe you cannot comprehend this simple fact!!
You just do not know what you are spewing out of your nostrils. The Federal Government had to rush to the aid of these Provinces with all sorts of grants such as CERB etc., that even in the end the Conservatives voted for such grants to those who were laid off including business closures, after bitching non-stop!!

Stuff that is highlighted just displays your professionalism or total lack of it. You start resorting to abusive lingo when you have run out of ideas, but cannot answer a very simple question that garbages all your childlike useless yara, yara, yara!!

Again, if spending and printing money has caused all this "high inflation" then why is Japan's inflation the lowest among the G7 Nations?

Looking at Japan’s Debt Burden
Some economists have turned to Japan as an example to address this concern. Why? For more than two decades, Japan’s national debt has floated above 100% of its GDP. In fact, as of the second quarter of 2022, Japan’s debt-to-GDP ratio was 226%. In other words, Japan has been able to maintain a very high level of debt for decades.

Researchers have also pointed out similarities in the fiscal problems faced by the U.S. today and Japan 20 years ago. Due to Japan’s rapidly aging population, economists predicted that the heavy burden of social security expenses would result in a large fiscal deficit, which could then lead to a public debt crisis. However, a crisis has yet to occur.

When examining Japan’s debt-to-GDP, it may therefore seem fair to assume that concerns regarding the U.S.’s high level of debt are overstated. In this blog post, we show that, while simple, a comparison based solely on the debt-to-GDP ratio overlooks several other key factors. A more comprehensive view of the debt issue necessitates an examination of the public sector’s balance sheet as a whole, the level of net liability and the revenue from its asset returns.

Canada has a much better Debt to GDP ratio and an inflation rate that is the second lowest after Japan.

I know that you will go on and on about debts, vs deficits but without any explanations as to the fact that Canada is performing better that nearly all the G7 nation as far as inflation is concerned. That Pee Pee can moan and groan, and one day when all the facts are made public as to what he will do to address the inflation with cut, cut cuts for all the services that need it the most and offer huge tax breaks to the elitists. No wonder that you fall into that dumb redneck category that you offer all the praises. Just dumb and dumber!!

Beaver you are truly sad.
After thoroughly embarrassing yourself with your lack of knowledge, many many many times, you’re worse than an energizer bunny. You just keep going and going… this is the best deflection you can come up with?

1) Have I ever said otherwise? Nope. Now you’re just making shit up..

2) have I not repeatedly said. The 2k/month for the people that were out of work was insulting? Or those that lost businesses? Yes I have. Clearly, you have the memory of a sieve. Guilty as charged.

3) The relative health authorities were the ones calling the shots. What do you actually know?

4) what have you done for them since?
/crickets

Stood up for them? “Argued” for anything?
Nope, just the opposite, hence you throw under them under the bus. Over and over and over again…And call them Freedumb Truckers and dumb red necks. Your level of awareness and elitism is so bad, you can’t even connect those dots, nor understand why PP is popular. You are the lefts worst enemy. Nor do you grasp you made the bed, and are whining about consequences. Including the responses you get.

Like manufacturing that you’d forgotten about, you’ve already forgotten about them.cant even grasp we just went billions into debt, because they were barely getting by to begin with. But this time it’s the have nots in retail/service sectors and more blue collar workers/small business owners… Aka how many times have I mentioned being unable to save for their own retirements, or warnings about healthcare, you and other left wing voters ignored….you don’t even know who Drummond is or Mintz is.

And like soaring hydro, and green insanity and Ontario debt levels that limit government abilities…Be that fix hydro, reduce revenue, plug holes in PS, try to spur a little economic growth, especially outside the GTA…( see also capital bleed) you know, socioeconomic shit you claim to champion…and claim to grasp….all you do is want more more more.

Vote buying today, taxes today, inflation today (which you don’t grasp), and interest rates ( you don’t grasp the BoCs role whose job it is to try and keep inflation at 2%, no matter the cause and there are many…including wage increases, buying demand, , whether that’s excess money and people spending…or growth in gdp and people spending) Maybe now a small light bulb is going off….See both Harper and tepid growth, and also now debt>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>gdp.I doubt it, but can always hope.

plus other factors you’re blind to..Like why housing demand in the GTA and when prices took off ( 2008-2012) and your whines are so bad and loud.

Another angry post in which you list your grievances but are totally unable to articulate solutions or to explain how the cons could fix these issues.

Another idiotic post that has nothing to do with the topic, or related topics and everything to do with you needing to deflect from your inadequacy. As a voter, resident of Ontario, contributor here, and more.

What makes you think you deserve any answers, what so ever. Are you that full of yourself? Let’s ignore the fact, some have been suggested.

What makes you think, people that create problems, are able and competent enough to fix them? See McGuinty/Wynne and JT. Or life in the real world on any topic. Only you and fools like you would for example pay a contractor tens of thousands more to fix a Reno they screwed up in the first place….and only fools like you refuse to accept reality or learn from history..
