How many of you use text apps to book a SP ?

I understand that not all girls book text apps * myself included * but I was just wondering how common it is among hobbyists.

I feel like most guys have no problem using their real number to book as long as there is an understanding that no texts will be sent after the meeting takes place.

This poll is solely for research purposes.

I would love to use text app but nobody here seems to know what they are using. So I can use the same for Android.

Many agencies take apps and many guys here use agencies. If you are looking for numbers on Indies / this will not work as a good reflection of the actual market use of text apps. Just FYI.

I know most people like to use text apps but there a good majority of indies that do not accept text apps.

Im just hoping to get some kind of feedback on this subject.

Should ladies allow text apps? Is there a double standard when it comes to text apps and the use of them.

I am open to any kind of conversation regarding this topic.

I think agencies can accept them because even if he is a time waster, they have enough of a clientele base, they can properly fill the slot and therefore don’t care as much as indies would.

Also - due to the volume of girls who work, it offsets the expenses of the agency while an indy is solely responsible for hers so ensure a little no shows and times wasters as possible is important.

I think many started using text apps with agencies before the few who check - were even checking - so those clients are already know and vetted.

I think there are many things that play into this. For both sides. Well all three. Indy, agency and client.

I use TextMe. Occasionally an issue with a lady or agency not answering. For me, it protects my cell number (including random calls) as well as it password protects.
+1 and I do get random calls on that number which nobody supposed to have and which are are so easy to ignore

As I only use agencies text apps are no problem.

I use Go SMS Pro, which has the advantage of having a private text section that requires a pin number to access. Keeps my sex industry texts private, and prevents me from texting booking requests to my friends and relatives lol.

Only problem is that sometimes it decides to stop sending texts so I have to close the app and open it again to fix it. Always obvious when that happens, and it has never failed to receive a text.

I love my Text Now app. Easy to turn off, hide it in a submenu. It’s like a firewall around my hobby. I also use a dedicated web browser for terb and LL.

I've never used a Text App.

Some phones these days have Dual SIM functionality (physical SIM and eSIM).

Bell Prepaid advertises eSIM activations; and I believe eSIM is free. Telus Prepaid will allow eSIM as well, but you need to pay $15 for an eSIM voucher. Rogers/Fido is a no-go, because in order to set up your Preapid account you actually have to go a store and show ID.

The thing I like about Bell Prepaid is that you can use any bullshit name or address you want (since there is no Credit Check required), there are no bills, and you can buy the top-ups from any convenience store or gas station with cash, so there is no paper trail.

A little more work than using a Text App, but nobody is going to have an issue with the phone number.

Its really interesting to see all the replies.

Seems like people really like text apps just for the simple reason of privacy.

I think it can be a double standard because there are some girls who use text apps that dont book text apps. Does that make her a hypocrite or wrong for not allowing text apps but using one herself?

Perhaps; but if a girl believes that guys who use text apps are time wasters, and wants to screen her clientele based on that belief, that is her prerogative.

You could also say it is hypocritical for a girl to ask for references from other providers before booking a client, but that same girl will not provide references to other girls - I have heard of instances of that going on in this business.

As for privacy, there are more and more indies these days who require screening in the form of things such as Government ID or a LinkedIn Page; that I am not down for.

I know girls want guys to be more accountable....but I've been doing this for over 15 years and I remember the good old days where everyone used pseudonyms, anonymity was paramount, and guys and gals were more respectful of each other. Whatever happened to that??

You raise some very good & interesting points. I have also heard of girls asking for references but not giving them . I am not sure when government ID became a mandatory thing for some girls . I understand that it is their choice but I feel like that takes away from the anonymity of the hobby.

I think there is a lot more time wasters than before and girls just want to be safe.

I use my real phone and number - no issues around privacy if you're booking a well known and reviewed indy/provider.

As for there being a double standard (e.g. companions not responding to text apps but using it themselves) - there isn't one. Companions use textapps for various reasons including safety purposes, they are the ones that are vulnerable & face the safety risks in the entire client/provider interactions. Clients do not face this safety risk. The two can't be compared - the companion is free to add in as many layers of protection, privacy & anonymity to ensure safety given they bare the burden of the risk.

Unfortunately not all clients have this same mentality & providers are often called derogatory names or harassed by people that dont agree with how they operate their business.

It's completely ridiculous, callous, insensitive and wrong.

Also you hit the nail on the head. This is the companions business - they setup their operations however they see fit. If clients don't like one operators approach they should move along to one that better aligns with their preferences.
