If the 4 best teams are in the playoff Ohio State should be one of them...they lost one game and they go from 2nd to 6...what happens if Alabama beats Georgia, how far would Georgia fall?
If the Top 4 teams all win this weekend. Georgia, Michigan, Washington, FSU are all 13-0. Which one gets bumped out for the 11-1 Ohio State?

If Georgia or Washington lose I do think it will be interesting to see who will be in the Top 4. Would Bama leapfrog Ohio State?

Either way... It will be a good weekend of College Football.

The problem with Ohio State is strength of schedule, or lack thereof. Penn State, Notre Dame and Michigan are the only top 25 teams they played over a 12 game schedule.
A team like Georgia has played a much tougher schedule including 4 ranked teams - Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee and Ole Miss as well as some decent teams like Florida and Auburn. If they lose to Bama I don't see them dropping beyond 4th.

I guess I should have been more clearer...4 13-0 teams should be in the playoff, but if one of them loses Ohio State should be the first one-loss team in.

If Bama beats Georgia, I say they give Georgia 4th, Oregon stays put and Bama gets 6th. Last few years the committee is biased Georgia. On a similar note Las Vegas is calling the playoff spots : Georgia, Michigan, Oregon and Texas 4th. That Texas over Bama earlier in the season was supposed to be the 2nd most important matchup after Michigan over Ohio State last weekend. Great weekend !

No Worries. My neighbor is a die hard Ohio State fan. His argument is "Who has FSU played??? Loser ACC Teams... Ohio State had a harder schedule than FSU so screw FSU's perfect record in a puff cake conference". I was not sure if that was your take. :)

My team, Virginia Tech Hokies, is nowhere near the top 25 so I have no allegiances this weekend. I just want to see some good games.

Michigan should win easy. Can't see Bama beating the Bulldogs. Bama's O-line was pretty weak at beginning of the year along with QB play. I think Georgia and their talent with expose that again. I think it will be close until late 3rd quarter.
But, I've been wrong before.

Ohio State's only path is if Oregon beats Washington or if Florida loses to Louisville...Michigan will win in a walk...if Georgia loses to Alabama I think Georgia should still be in but I'm not sure what to do with Alabama...Texas is not out of it either...Florida having their backup QB in doesn't make them a lock.

All the sports analysts/experts/bookies saying Michigan will score 2 or 3 TD's and shut it down for the rest of the game. Iowa games are 10-2 on the UNDER this year. The implied score is something like Michigan 28, Iowa 7. Win and you're in, there is no need for style points this weekend and on. Go Michigan & Georgia !

When you state Florida . Every 5 years in USA knows that you are referring to Florida Gators. ;)

Over a possible 1-loss Texas and Alabama?Regardless of the result the winner of the Pac-12 is in and loser is out.

Tell him FSU hasn't played any overrated Big 10 teams. The entire Big 10 has one victory over a ranked non-conference team. (OSU over ND). ND lost twice against "loser ACC" teams, both will have played FSU by tomorrow night. Also FSU beat two SEC teams.

That PAC-12 championship game last night was great. I hope the rest of the games today are just as good.

All the experts called Oregon in a rout . . I didn't see that Washington win coming. . One of Oregon's last drive, 3rd and 8 and Lanning calls a QB draw, although it's supposed to be a pass, Wash D read it all the way. I was rooting for Oregon. I don't think Bama can upset GA today . .

Both of Oregon's losses this year came against Washington. Not sure why the "experts" would say that.

You and I could be labelled "sports experts" ( or sports analysts), I laugh when I see that title since the majority of them have success ratios of 40/60. Since their 1st meeting, Oregon has been peaking and Washington barely won their matches. I like to peek at the weekly stats and Washington's average MOV ( margin of victory ) 14, and Oregon's MOV 26. Vegas called the game Oregon -9.5 , Over/Under 65 , final score Wash 34 Oregon 31. Should of easily been an OVER type game, but Oregon had so many 3 and outs.

So far I would think Washington is the only shoe in for playoffs.
Then you got Michigan(should win), Texas, Bama, Bulldogs, Florida State maybe Ohio State battling it out for a playoff spot.
