I think Tomlins staff combined is better at this point. The pats have been robbed of coaches for at least 15 years now. Make no mistake Bill made Brady not the other way around. The Pat's had the perfect plan to succeed with mediocre players. Brady was developed over several years. The problem with the Pat's is they don't have talent so their drafts haven't been good and they do not pick up talented players. Bill seems to have lost his effectiveness and his ability to find great coaches and players. Parcells was the greatest coach in the 80s and 90s but he couldn't stay will a team very long to remain effective. I remember the same talk about Bill Cower when they went 6-10 then won the suoerbowl the next year with Rapistburger as a rookie
Bill Belichick is 82-100 and 1-2 in the playoffs without Tom Brady. Meanwhile, Tom Brady went to Tampa and won the SB there. And you claim it was Bill who made Brady? Dont let the facts get in the way of your perception lol

The Seahawks had 4th and one late last night against the Cowboys and gave the ball to RB in the back field and got stuffed. With the Brotherly Shove, the Eagles convert this play almost 100% of the time. You would think other teams would have learned by now not to start by going backwards.

Speaking of the Cowboys, they are the most lethal team right now and Dak Prescott is making a serious case for MVP. Eagles vs 49ers on Sunday and Eagles vs Cowboys week 14 have serious implications for NFC number one seed

You obviously don't understand football. When Brady came into the league he wasn't very talented. He was a game manager that was not expected to put the team on his back and he did what he was coached to do and didn't make many mistakes. This is what the Patriots did for decades with all their players. They brought in players that were not succeeding on other teams and turned them into or back into stars. They had the best coaches and the best system for years and years. Many players benefitted from their system. Tom did develope into a great player but it took some years in the best system with the best coaches. If Brady went to a team like Chicago or Cleveland he most likely would have never been known. Belichick built the Patriots from.the ground up and was amazingly successful but the last couple seasons the players are not playing well and making mistakes uncharatertic of belichicks system

The New York Jets drafted Chad Pennington 18th overall, six other QB were drafted before Brady. This was the 2000 Draft, Brady replaced an injured Drew Bledsoe in 2001 and won the SB in his sophomore year. The following season the Patriots didn't make the playoffs, everyone wrote them off as a flash in the pan.

The Cleveland Browns are the architects of their own their own misery, they've won zippo since Jim Brown retired. In the 1995 Season they fired Bill Belichick.

The Belichick system wasnt successful in Cleveland and hasnt been successful in New England without Tom Brady. Even with the highly touted Drew Bledsoe as QB, the Belichick system was not successful. Meanwhile, Tom Brady left New England and promptly won the SB in Tampa. Even when the evidence hits you in the face, you still refuse to see it. Which is a revelation of your mental aptitude.

Coaches are only as good as their players. Their greatest talent is identifying elite talent, which Belichick did by sticking with Brady even when Bledsoe was healthy. The great Alex Ferguson at Manchester United was mediocre until he signed Eric Cantona. Then he went on to cement his legacy by signing David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, etc. Phil Jackson had Shaq and Kobe at the Lakers and Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen at the Bulls. His triangle would never have succeeded without those elite players

Bill went 11-5 in his 4th year in Cleveland. In 2008 without Brady, 11-5. 2021 - 10-7 without Brady. In 2022 Brady went 8-9. New England never had elite talent, they drafted the right players for their system and had the best coaching and best system in professional sports of all time. In the other two years post Brady the Pats went 7-9 and 8-9, so in 2022 the Pats and Brady had exactly the same record. I am not saying Brady isnt a great QB and Belichick isnt a great coach, but it was the right combination which allowed them to succeed and Brady would not have been anywhere near as good if he was in a different system.

You seriously think the Bills will win every remaining game?
He's dreaming in technicolor. The Bills have too many flaws, particularly on defense. They can't stop the run being the primary one. They will be hard pressed to beat KC, Baltimore and Miami, they may sneak out a win if they're lucky. I think a best case scenario for them is 9-8 finish.
Where I do agree with our friend is with the Jags. In fact I could see them going 6-0 down the stretch. The offense is starting to click with Lawrence playing much better and Calvin Ridley getting more involved. Their run defense is 4th in the league. Where they get burned is in the secondary but it hasn't translated into that many points against. They currently rank 12th in that area. Toughest challenge will be the Ravens. Who ever would have predicted a 14-3 Jacksonville record lol.

The Cowboys secondary, in particular Bland, had a horrible game last night. If that becomes a trend they are in trouble. I don't put them in the same category as the Eagles or 49'ers. And like another famous Cowboys QB, Prescott seems to turn into a pumpkin in crunch time. That all being said Micah Parsons is sick on the defensive side of the ball and CeeDee Lamb on the offensive side.

I'm a Bills fan but I do have to admit their defense is weak. Watch when they play weak teams, many times that team moves down the field in less than one minute. Every 2 or 3 plays they are giving up a 1st down. Even Cleveland, Denver , Boys and SF have better D's in my opinion.

Bland mailed it in last night and was anticipating too much of another pick 6. Come on, just do your job and those pick sixes will come. He gave up too many coverages last night. When Prescott goes through his checkdowns and everyone is covered, he just freezes and stands there and clutches the ball. If Mahomes gets a 9.5/10 for improvising, Prescott gets a 4.10. Come on man, you are not a rookie. . .

Did I hear the radio correctly earlier today? Are the Eagles underdogs at home this weekend? Apparently only the third 10-1(or better) team to be a dog at home. The other two teams were underdogs because they were resting starters late in the season.

8-3 vs 10-1, and the road team is the favorite , I think this is a first. Will be a great game if that one is on tv !

DK Metcalf is a rare specimen. He is 6' 4" and 235 pounds and fast. On his 73 yard touchdown, he reached 22.23 mph, which is the fastest of any ball carrier since week 2 of 2020 season when Raheem Mostert went above 23 mph.

Bland is 6' and 197 pounds. So Bland was horribly overmatched against Metcalf. That was the problem.

To repeat: Bill Belichick is 82-100 and 1-2 in playoffs without Tom Brady. He drafted Mac Jones in the first round. This is the Mac Jones who set NCAA season records for passer rating and completion percentage as a junior and won 2 CFP national championships at Alabama. Mac Jones should have been an unqualified success under the Belichick system. But after leading the Pats to a playoff beth in his rookie season, he has regressed to 2-9 record this year with just a 64.9% completion percentage and about to cost Bill Belichick his job. The Patriots have selected 11 QBs during the Brady era. All have been busts. Meanwhile, Tom Brady defeated the vaunted Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs at Tampa to win his 7th SB. If all this is not proof to you that it was Tom Brady who made Bill Belichick, then nothing will convince the hopeless.

Brady never had a losing season with belichick as a coach, he did 33.3% of the time without him

Interesting fact from last night's Pitt/ NE game.
Team records when allowing 10 or fewer points in a game:
NE 1-3.
The rest of the league 53-0.
