Come on man....Egypt lost the war. Land was acquired and moved onto.

That's the way it goes...Maybe just maybe Egypt shouldn't have attacked.
Well at least Egypt and pals learned their lesson and are not such monsters as to purposely get their children killed to get their pogram done.

Land was never acquired. It was just taken by force. The 1967 war was not started by Egypt or the other Arabs - they DID NOT attack. The war was started by Israel - this is something people forget. Israel was afraid of Egypt acquiring weapons and having an army in the Sinai, so they started spinning narratives about how this was an existential issue for them, invoked the holocaust etc., - you know standard Israeli nonsense. And used that narrative to attack the unsuspecting Egyptians. Infact, even as the Egyptians (who never fought back), were retreating, Israeli jets bombed even their tanks and armour. They then proceeded to occupy the Sinai, Gaza strip and the West Bank. So this is occupation and colonialism. So it is not how it goes.
Yeah is that what Al Jazeera is telling you,lol...See I was alive and following the events.

You think that maybe just maybe the blockade of Elat was a bad idea and forming a military alliance with Jordan and Iraq.

Israel just did a preemptive strike...

I know about Israel's history before Al-Jazeera or this current conflict. And a pre-emptive strike based on a false narrative is still an attack. Israel started the war
It's the narrative that was happening at the time. You just weren't around to witness it.

I'm out on this one..You can have the last word.

SO you never did read that Wikipedia article on the WASP term did you.
In did in fact. But I also lived through the 60's and 70's and remember how the term was used among certain people.

Piers did not really have an opinion other than saying Oct 7 was a terrorist attack, which, yes it was. But October 7 cannot and should not be considered in isolation, as it is part of an ongoing larger conflict, which is what Tate was pointing to, and he was right.
Tate's quite the expert on world politics, I guess.

It is still considered disputed land because of the occupation.
I don't the Israelis consider it "disputed land" and they're the vote that counts on the issue, aren't they?

Regardless of his expertise, he was right. I mean I would say he had a better take than many here who are supporting Israel purely because of their hatred of Muslims.
I haven't noticed any of those people here, Kauty. I've noticed a lot of guys - like myself - who object to rape, murder and kidnapping and think a country has the right to defend its own citizens.

They forgot it because well...

Israel reiterated its post-1956 position that another Egyptian closure of the Straits of Tiran to Israeli shipping would be a definite casus belli. In May 1967, Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser announced that the Straits of Tiran would again be closed to Israeli vessels. He subsequently mobilized the Egyptian military into defensive lines along the border with Israel[31] and ordered the immediate withdrawal of all UNEF personne
After the war, U.S. President Lyndon Johnson commented:[62]
If a single act of folly was more responsible for this explosion than any other, it was the arbitrary and dangerous announced decision that the Straits of Tiran would be closed. The right of innocent, maritime passage must be preserved for all nations.
On 30 May, Jordan and Egypt signed a defence pact. The following day, at Jordan's invitation, the Iraqi army began deploying troops and armoured units in Jordan.[63] They were later reinforced by an Egyptian contingent. On 1 June, Israel formed a National Unity Government by widening its cabinet, and on 4 June the decision was made to go to war. The next morning, Israel launched Operation Focus, a large-scale, surprise air strike that launched the Six-Day War.

Maybe you should have spent some time with people who were not part of the KKK.
It's a perfectly cromulent word used by normal sane people also.

But you defend rape, kidnapping and murder by a different race and even called for that other people to be forced out of Palestine/Israel.
That certainly reads as race based.

You are very clearly not applying the same standards or legal standards to both peoples.

If its not race, why?

It's always nice to have a coffee mug with your picture next to you on your desk for credibility....

Right out of the Saul Goodman handbook.
He's got a lot more credibility than Tate, huh?

On a serious note, if you were in serious legal trouble and could have Bruce or Andrew pro bono as your solicitor, who would you have representing you?

because one group of people is trying to live peaceful and civilized life while another group of people is radicalized and wallowing in their martyrdom and trying to teach their children to be martyrs and bring death and destruction?
