The October 7 attacks didn't happen in a vacuum. Prior to that Israel has repeatedly breached international law subjecting Palestinians to a state of suffering, demolition of homes and theft of land and water, imprisonment of thousands without trial, unfair restrictions of movement and commodities etc. before October 7, the number of Palestinians behind bars was 5200 including hundreds of CHILDREN. Many of these are administrative detainees which means they are held with no trial and no charge. Within 2 weeks Israeli military took another 1500 Palestinians and threw them in prisons. What kind of cowards military detains children as young as 3!?!

This thread is misleading. Israel is not at war..a war implies both parties have a military. I haven't seen one Palestinian cadef or Army member. What I have seen is innocent civilians being carpet bombed by the IOF using white phosphorus which is a war crime. We can call it for what it is which is a genocide

You should join one of the marches to get a sense of the crowd, at all the Palestine marches there are Jews there who make a point of being visible and being against the occupation. Those ones feel safer out in public than I'd expect shack would ever feel if he took an Israeli flag with him.

You have a choice to join a massive diverse and peaceful crowd or a very white looking, tiny crowd with massive police protection these days.

I would never join the marches and I wish they would commence to shut them down. I don't believe you about your Jewish "friends."

I also have both Jewish, Arab and Muslim friends and they all fall in line for their side except for a couple of Arab friends who are Christians, they side with the Jews. To avoid conflict when I am with the Arab and Muslim crowd we do not bring the topic up and if it does come up among them I stay out of it. You cannot change the minds of folks with skin in the game even if they are wrong.
