Long live the CFL. An exciting game and part of our heritage.

When I was in high school the Edmonton Eskimos were in the middle of their historical Grey Cup run(1978-1982). There were actual serious debates about the Grey Cup champions playing the Super Bowl champions, and who would win the game.

Anybody ever met any players past or present who were/are with the two 2023 Grey Cup playing teams (i.e. Alouettes and Blue Bombers)?
I have worked with a few members of Montreal's staff. Winnipeg is the only team where I don't really know anyone. I have met O'shea a few times but nothing more.

I just want to see a good game, since I have bets on both sides. Implied bookie score WPG 28, MTL 20, I'm just going to predict : WPG 30 , MTL 25. Any guesses out
there ? I just want to see a good game and no blowouts like the Argos game.
I have a suspicious feeling and I hope I'm wrong here.

That Winnipeg is going to blow the Als doors off here.

Are Drew Bighill and Dalton Schoen going to be able to play for the Blue Bombers? Two key players for Winnipeg.

Will Shawn Lemon continue to harass opposing QB's? He's been a factor all year for Montreal.

Looks like it's going to be about 7 degrees for the game. Perfect weather for the Grey Cup. Hamilton transit strike ended Thursday so that's positive as well.

I'm so happy I was wrong.

Great game!..Great presentation by the league and the City of Hamilton.

The Als calling that long pass play on 3rd and 5 at the end showed some real balls.

They weren't content just to kick a field goal and go into overtime. Fantastic coaching and execution.

The City of Montreal should be proud.

Great GC gents - Green Day was tight and sounded great - and the MA played great and well deserved win.

There was about 1 minute left, Als had a 2nd and 17 and the Bombers were willing to concede FG yardage. That coaching strategy always backfires, the rallying team
always shoots for TD yardage. CFL or NFL there are hardly any D's that can play tight defense with 1 or 2 minutes left. Betting sites are live and tv broadcasts are about 30 seconds slow. Just look at the live odds and the bookie is assuming the dog is going to rally for the win. Nailed it ! Brain called WPG, but wallet called Als !

Great game as usual. Green Day was terrific. Hard to believe they've been around since 1986. No more eyeliner for Billy Joe?

Never fails , GC exciting game to the end!

What would have been more exciting is if on the last play of the game, the BB pass receiver kicked a high punt into the Al's end zone, catching M defenders off guard, in their attempt to possess the ball, they fumble it around after given 5 yards and then a BB player recovers ball in the end zone for the winning touch down!

Glad Montreal won. It was a well played (not perfect) game by both teams. They were probably celebrating on Crescent Street until 4:00AM.

Not wanted in Sask. ... Good on Cody Fajardo and Jason Moss ! Great CFL season again. So many games decided in the last 3 minutes.
